Free Printable Cute Christmas Labels

Christmas may still be more than a month away and while some of us are only just preparing for Thanksgiving, those of us who love procrastinating should really start preparing for Christmas like NOW.

Here is a great freebie that I found this morning courtesy of Ink Tree Press and can be grabbed from World Label, a website that offers labels. This set of labels for Christmas by Ink Tree Press was done exclusively for World Label.

To get your hands on them, you will have to click on the link to download, and then print them out from your computer. I know, a lot of us don’t really like to “waste” printer ink like this because printing cute stuff off the internet can get pretty addictive but then no “hard copy” of these labels are given away. This should be good enough, thanks to Erin of Ink Tree Press.

Hello Kitty Freebies

Gosh, I thought I am too old to love cute stuff anymore and then when I chanced upon this website of Hello Kitty, I fall in love with her all over again! You see, I grew up with Hello Kitty and had plenty of Hello Kitty collectibles as well. I think part of the reason many of us girls love Hello Kitty was because of all the pink!

Today, I chanced upon the website of Sanrio, which owns Hello Kitty and am glad to say that there are some freebies and many activities to play. I know, these were made to cater to children but I think parents could help the children to play as well, right? These would make awesome family activities.

Check out the website of Sanrio. Hello Kitty is so sweet!

Celebrating Christmas

Christmas may still be three more months to go but if you are planning any Christmas event at you, you should plan early. Just now, as I was looking for a Christmas freebie, I chanced upon this old website called Celebrating Christmas. it looks to me like they offer a free downloadable and printable Christmas magazine yearly. Right now, the 2007 issue is still up on their website. Well, like I said, Christmas 2008 is still three months away.

However, if you would like to get your hands on a copy of the Celebrating Christmas 2008 magazine, you should bookmark the website and check them regularly leading to Christmas. The 2007 copy looks really interesting with plenty of Christmas ideas and I am sure, nobody could have enough Christmas ideas, right?

Free Wordoku Puzzles

I have to admit, I am never good with numbers. A couple of years ago, my sister introduced me to the Japanese number puzzle called Sudoku. I tried to play it but could only solve the easiest puzzles, giving up on the more difficult puzzles.

This morning, I discovered something called Wordoku. This is similar to Sudoku, except that we use letters to form words, unlike Sudoku which does not make sense to me at all. Hehe!

If you would like to try your hand and brains on Wordoku puzzles, bookmark http://www.menneske.no/wordoku/eng/ where Vegard Hanssen has generated more than five hundred THOUSAND printable Wordoku puzzles! That’s an amazing database he has there. Check it out and let me know if you prefer solving Sudoku or Wordoku puzzles. Each puzzle comes with a solution so don’t worry! :-D

Free Beijing 2008 Worksheets & Coloring Pages

I was helping my late cousin’s daughter look for printable coloring sheets of the Fuwa mascots of Beijing 2008 Olympics, BeiBei, JingJing, HuanHuan, YingYing and NiNi. Somehow, these five Chinese kids in costumes of China native animals have captured the hearts of children and adults alike all over the world.

Like many schools, this girl is required to take some Beijing 2008 printables to her art class so I had to help her since she is not web savvy.

I found Reader’s Digest with quite a collection of free Beijing 2008 Olympics printables. They are all in .PDF format so you will need to be sure that you have Adobe Reader or a similar program installed on your computer to open and print these files after downloading them. Enjoy!

Free Printable Sudoku Puzzles

My sister introduced Sudoku, a Japanese puzzle, to me some time back. She says she is addicted to solving them. Me, I gave up after a while. I am never good with numbers. Heck, I can’t even spell Sudoku right. Sometimes, I may think that it is Sodoku and sometimes even Sukodo. Whatever it is, I HAVE GIVEN UP!

My sister asked me to help her find free printable Sudoku, which I did. She says she is not going to buy these puzzles books [yes she is as cheapo as I am] and neither does she the time to stick at the computer just to play Sudoku online. I guess there’s where our lifestyle differs!

Anyway, I found it for her and decided to share it with you! Check out the link for free printable Sudoko puzzles! The only problem is that… hmmm…. solutions are not provided. Or at least I could not find any!

Free Paper Animation Kits

I remember writing about the Flying Pig website awhile back. I don’t exactly remember when but since then, I believe there are new paper animation kits added to the website.

If you are someone who loves craft, this is a great hobby to take up. Of course, after running out of the free animation paper kits, you would have to buy them, LOL, or look for another website that provides similar paper animation kits. Haha!

Personally, I think that these paper animation kits are very cute and would be a great activity for children. However, I just won’t know where to keep all my craftwork! Perhaps I will give them away one day.
