Freebies For Kids

I may not have children of my own but I know how expensive their toys and books could be. I go shopping, you know? That’s why when I came upon this website that offers free stuff for kids, I thought it would be an excellent idea to share.

Now, this website certainly looks familiar to me and I do not remember if I have featured them before in the past. After all, with a few thousand posts in both my freebie blogs, it’s not easy to keep tab on websites! So if I have already featured them previously, I apologise!

Anyway, if you have a child at home, you may want to check out what’s in store for you at Free Stuff 4 Kids. There are plenty of freebies and activity sheets for children. Maybe some of them would be useful to you.

Free Beijing 2008 Worksheets & Coloring Pages

I was helping my late cousin’s daughter look for printable coloring sheets of the Fuwa mascots of Beijing 2008 Olympics, BeiBei, JingJing, HuanHuan, YingYing and NiNi. Somehow, these five Chinese kids in costumes of China native animals have captured the hearts of children and adults alike all over the world.

Like many schools, this girl is required to take some Beijing 2008 printables to her art class so I had to help her since she is not web savvy.

I found Reader’s Digest with quite a collection of free Beijing 2008 Olympics printables. They are all in .PDF format so you will need to be sure that you have Adobe Reader or a similar program installed on your computer to open and print these files after downloading them. Enjoy!

My young niece has been pretty excited about the upcoming Beijing Olympics, 2008 next month in August. This is like her first Olympics as she was too young back then.

I thought that it would be a good activity for her to color the Olympic mascots. Who agrees with me that BeiBei JingJing HuanHuan YingYing NiNi Olympic mascots are cute? I think that the creators of these Beijing Olympic mascots are innovative and they have a winner, or five, on their hands.

I searched for free coloring pages of BeiBei, JingJing, HuanHuan, YingYing and NiNi and managed to find a good selection of free coloring pages from Activity Village.

If you are also looking for free coloring pages of Beijing Olympic mascots BeiBei, JingJing, HuanHuan, YingYing and NiNi, whose names, by the way, collectively make up “Beijing Welcomes You”, then head over to Activity Village.

Education & Edutainment For Kids

Here is another education cum entertainment website for children. This site aims to improve literacy among children across the world. The site offers free download of books and other fun stuff like clip art and animated backgrounds.

Although this site is primarily for kids from a disadvantaged background, underprivileged, physically challenged or with special needs, it does not mean that adults can download the book or clip art, ok? They are free so do help to spread the word to share the goodies with as many people as possible.

Please take note that Lullalee Productions accepts donations to help support their cause in providing and serving these children with their literacy programs from around the world.

Lullalee Productions also have a gift store where sales received will be channeled to their programs as well. So do help to spread the word, will you?

You just have got to love this site. I love it even though I have no kids to share these activities with! I simply love the design and theme of the site. Way to cute, if you ask me.

Guava Jelly For Kids is actually a kids activity site. From baking to crafting to cooking to learning to painting and all things creative, Guava Jelly For Kids have just the right activity to keep young children interested. Heck, even *I* was interested! I have always loved craft work but never have the time to indulge in it but now that I discovered Guava Jelly For Kids, I am having so much fun.

There are plenty of run recipes to try out and adults can have lots of fun making them for the family too, even without the kids. In any case, I really enjoyed myself trying out the simple craft ideas. What a great way to relax.
