Free Open Source Drawing Software for Children

My friend told me that she is looking for free drawing software for her daughter. My friend is a graphic designer herself and it looks like her daughter has picked up some drawing skills as well. That was why my friend was eager to introduce computer art to her.

I came across this open source computer art software specially developed for children between the ages of 3 to 12, though older children or even adults could use it. There’s no hard and fast rule, right?

This is a really fun software and I think it would help me to improve on my own drawing skills. It’s pathetic, I tell you. To download Tux Paint, click HERE.

Free Beautiful WordPress Themes From Jauhari

In my search for beautiful WordPress themes that are clean and neat, I stumbled upon the blog of this Indonesian designer called Jauhari. I have to say that he has a pretty large collection of WordPress themes that would be suitable for any kind of WordPress powered blog. No matter if you have a personal blog, a business or enterprise blog or a magazine style blog, Jauhari has just the right WordPress theme for you.

I have bookmarked his blog and you know, with more than ten WordPress blogs, I expect to use one of his themes someday soon!

The only problem with Jauhari’s blog is that viewing with Internet Explorer, his blocks of ads on his sidebars are all out of alignment. There is no such issue browsing from Firefox, though. This is an issue that I believe, as a WordPress theme designer, he should have it rectified as soon as possible.

My search brought me to the beautiful designs of this guy by the name of Aaron Ovadia. You should check out his free PSDs. They are free to be used on your personal or commercial online projects. However, they are not to be sold! I am sure Aaron knows how to sell them if he wanted to, right?

Free Trial For Task Management Software

As you probably know, I work for myself and one of the biggest challenges is productivity. It is extremely easy to fall behind in work as distractions from daily life and family creep in. However, this is not the case if you are employed.

I was told by friends that environment in a workplace is very different. They have everything scheduled for them to maximize the productivity of the company. Of course, these are done by managers and all they need to do is to follow the schedule.

Managers now have it easier than managers of old. They now have task management software to help them schedule employees and plan tasks for each individual in a workplace.

If you are a manager looking for task management software, why not try this from Pelotonics? They are offering a 30-day free trial. A subscription to manage an unlimited number of projects would cost US$199 per month so that’s a maximum savings of US$199 outright!

Our Good Naymz

As someone who spends a considerable amount of time online, I notice that social networking is become more and more important. It is a great way to get our name or service out too. Also, most people have now gotten into the habit of checking the names of people online, especially people whom they have just met.

Naymz is a social reputation website that allows us a platform to bring out our good name. No matter if you are a free member or a paid member, once signed up, you can start to beef up your profile with real information that you would like others to know about. You can also provide references. The administrators of Naymz will randomly assign a reputation score to member profiles.

As an example, the RepScore of Dan Neumeister is TWO. If not mistaken, the maximum RepScore is TEN.

Oh yes, by the way, the tagline of Naymz is “Empowering Reputable Professionals” but I am not sure if membership is limited to professionals only. If it is, then I would not be eligible to sign up!
