Free Trip Hop Music Downloads

I receive tremendous feedback each time I write a post on free music download. I know everyone loves freebies, especially free music. Who wants to pay $0.99 for a song when you can have it for free, right?

Endless Blue is a website that has plenty of free trip hop music for download. The whole website is blue in colour which I think is rather striking and stand out from the many websites that I have visited.

The music here are said to be samples and remixes only. I don’t have the time to check out every download but I guess if you like these music, you are supposed to support the artists by buying their CD or song from iTunes.

Free Piano & Guitar Music

It’s very weird that although we have a piano and guitar at home, I was never sent to music classes. My older brother and sister went to music school though, albeit only at elementary level because by the time I was old enough to go, my parents could no longer afford the lessons.

Yesterday, while looking for something online, by chance, I came upon this site called G Major Music Theory that offers free music lessons for piano and guitar. If you are just starting on the piano or guitar, this site also have music for beginners.

For each piece of music, you can download the music sheet in .pdf formal or listen to the audio clip to give you an idea of how the music sounds like.

A friend asked me why do I search all over the internet looking for free stuff to post on my blog without compensation. Well, I believe in helping to spread the word if something free is beneficial to people.

Free Children’s Music

Many of today’s parents are very web savvy. They surf the web a lot looking for stuff for their young children like colouring pages, music, games and arts and crafts ideas. I chanced upon this site called Free Kids Music which is a database of children’s music where we can listen on the web or download to our computer.

I lost count how many tracks there are on this site but all the songs are neatly arranged according to alphabetical order of artists. This makes the site neat and user-friendly so navigation is a breeze.

These songs are all copyrighted and they are for personal use only. No way are we supposed to sell them or redistribute them in any way. So please do respect the intellectual property of the artists.

Download Music For Free Legally

Now that we have been warned loudly and clearly that should we be caught downloading copyrighted media and software illegally, we would be fined MYR250,000, I am sure many internet users have stopped their activity and have been buying their music and movies. For awhile there, I also wondered if there will still be anymore free music for us. Well, I’ve got an iPhone to fill, you know!

So I did a search for free legal music downloads and found quite a number of websites and Jamendo is one of them. We would have to register with this site first before we are able to download music. The music here, I think, is by obscure or up and coming artistes and musicians, nothing from the A-listers from what I could see. However, there are 220082 active members downloading music from the 6142 published albums and I think there must be some gems here!

So, if you are looking for free music, Jamendo seems to be a great place to start exploring!

Free Unsigned Bands Music Downloads

I just discovered a fairly new British music entertaiment website which recently launched a music chart for unsigned bands. I think this will provide wonderful much needed exposure to unsigned bands and hopefully, they can get that breakthrough that they are all seeking.

Ths website is free to join and all music makers and lovers are welcomed to sign up. Only on Tour Dates can you find an unsigned chart with free music downloads.

Thanks to Tour Dates, British unsigned bands can now upload their music to the site to share with other people and promote their brand and band by announcing gig dates. It would do them do to have a very interesting band profile page too.

Tour Dates allow such bands to promote themselves alongside more established bands and I think that all unsigned bands should grab this golden opportunity.

tourdates.Co.UK, Britains fastest growing new music website, has launched a chart for unsigned bands.

The site allows new bands to upload promotional tracks, announce gig dates and create profiles to promote themselves alongside major artists such as the Artic Monkeys and The Twang.

Tourdates Jarrod Robinson says, there are some fantastic unsigned bands in the UK and we wanted them to know how much our community likes their music, an unsigned chart seemed the perfect answer.

Chart results are announced on the site at 19:00 every sunday, the sametime as the No1 single of the week is announced on BBC’s radio 1.
