Free R.E.M. Track “Discoverer”

I listen to R.E.M. occasionally, though I have to admit that they are not my favourite band. I don’t follow their albums and certainly cannot sing along to most of their songs, unless they are the really popular ones. but then again, as a freebie lover, I cannot resist a good freebie.

R.E.M. is giving away their new track for free download. It’s called “Discoverer”. To get it, you will have to click on the link that I have enclosed at the top of this post, submit your email address and country and hit “ENTER”. Download link will be sent to your email and you can then grab it from there.

I didn’t read through the terms and conditions but I suspect that we’ll be signing up for R.E.M.’s newsletter. Oh, all right, it’s OK! Enjoy the track and let me know how you like it!

Now and then, we can get good free mp3 tracks from Amazon.com. I know they have it every week but most of them are not what we really want to listen to. However, this time, Amazon.com is giving us free $3 credit which means that we can use it to buy the songs that we want! Yay!

Just go to the link that I have enclosed at the top of this post, click on the yellow button that says “ENTER YOUR CODE” and enter this code GET3MP3S. Of course, you must already have an Amazon account and a billing address in the United States.

This freebie offer is valid from 22nd Nov, 2010 at 12.00AM PST through 29th Nov, 2010 at 11.59PM PST. This credit must be redeemed by 29th Nov, 2010 at 11.59 PM PST.

Free Bad Religion Live Album

It’s scary. It’s scary that I have not heard of this band before even though this is a 30 year old band! Where have I been? Are they famous or are they not? LOL

In any case, a freebie is a freebie and I love freebies! Why should I give this a pass even though I have not heard of them or listened to their music before, right? To receive a link to download the live album of Bad religion for free, just fill out the form on the page that I have included in this post and hit enter. You are joining a mailing list, by the way, so you know which email address to use, don’t you?

Anyway, if you know Bad Religion, do fill me in. I’d love to have some background information of them and I am too lazy to Google…

Download 6 Free Songs

Looks like every other company is utilizing Facebook and other social media networks for advertising and promotion. I am not sure if it’s good or bad but I think it’s rather limited, unless you consider the spamming that goes to the newsfeed and profiles. I don’t even check the newsfeed and almost always miss out on such postings on friends’ profiles.

Anyway, if you like freebies, especially free songs, Bruegger’s is giving away 6 free tracks for download but you would first have to “Like” their Facebook page first. I see that three of my friends have already done so.

Right now, I am not able to tell you what are the songs available. You’d have to Like the page to gain access but then you can always Unlike soon after. LOL

Free Mp3 Downloads By Garage Bands

If you use any social network at all, I am sure you would be familiar with iLike already. It’s a music application that allows social network users to share their favourite music and at the same time, allows artistes and wannabes to share their music with fans across all major social channels.

iLike, on their own website, offers free mp3 downloads everyday. The problem is that the tracks by “garage bands” may not be what you like to listen to but then when it’s free, there’s no complaints to be made, right?

Anyway, to get hold of any free tracks on iLike is really easy. Just click on the orange link that says Free MP3 and a download window will pop up. Save it to your computer. I didn’t grab any free tracks yet, so let me know how you like them.

Download Free Coldplay Live Album Left Right Left Right Left

I actually have known of Coldplay’s freebie offer of a downloadable live album called Left Right Left Right Left a long time ago but somehow forgotten to blog about this freebie. I remembered only when a friend shared his video with me that he uploaded to YouTube. I checked my download of Left Right Left Right Left and was horrified to discovered that it was months ago!

Anyway, I checked the website of Coldplay and am glad to know that this freebie is still available so it’s still not too late. Many people are confused with the genre of music that Coldplay plays. I will say that they are Alternative/Soft Rock, but I may be wrong.

Take a listen to this album and decide for yourself. The following tracks are on the live album, which I understand that copies of it are also given away to concert goers until the end of the year.

Left Right Left Right Left (Live Album) – Coldplay

01 – Glass of Water
02 – 42
03 – Clocks
04 – Strawberry Swing
05 – Hardest Part / Postcards from far Away
06 – Viva La Vida
07 – Death will never Conquer
08 – Fix You
09 – Death and all his Friends
