Download Vegetarian Recipes

Earlier on in this blog, I have featured a few websites that gives free vegetarian recipes. I always thought that it would be a great idea to go on a pure vegetarian diet for a couple of days every week, just to give our system a break but I am not disciplined enough to see it through. It is also difficult to stick to a special diet individually when the other family members need their meat intake lol

Anyway, here is another website with allows us to download vegetarian recipes. On Vegie Delights, an Australian website, we can download selected recipes or download them all and create our very own collection of vegetarian recipes in this downloadable cookbook.

To be able to download the cookbook, though, we will have to provide our personal particulars like name, age, email address and also let them know how we heard of them. You can also opt in to their mailing list.

I stumbled upon the official Olympics website of the Australian Olympics team for Beijing 2008. They are giving away a very beautiful official pin in conjunction of the event but you must sign up for their regular newsletter.

I did not sign up for the newsletter just to get my hands on the pin. I am not an Australian so I will just give the chance to Australians to get hold of the pin. From what I read, the pin is really more beautiful than shown on the website.

So if you want this pin, sign up early before stocks run out.

I came across Free Foto when I was actively digging the internet for images that I would like to use for my personal website. My friend told me that I would have to MAKE my own images. Since I don’t know how to make any, I thought I would grab a free image.

Let me tell you, I found a lot of site that provide free photographs, which I will also feature at a later date. Today, I am showcasing Free Foto. This site allows us to use their photographs for free for private or commercial use. It is very important to know beforehand conditions of use so as not to get into trouble later. So for Free Foto, we can use them as we like to use provided that we use them “as is” and provide a link back to Free Fotos. This is, of course, not a bad deal at all if you ask me!

However, if you want to use these photos for a really large commercial project, then you may want to get the watermark off your photos. That means you will have to pay for it

This morning, as I was surfing the internet looking for information on something totally unrelated to Scotland travel, one link led me to another and I ended up on Visit Scotland. They are currently running a few very exciting contests, unfortunately none of which I could personally participate in.
