Coming Clean In Luxury

Although being addicted to drugs or alcohol is not good, it does not mean that the person should be convicted to a “life sentence” and certainly it is not a life addiction because it could be cured and a drug addict could lead a better, drug-free life if given the support, assistance and a chance.

This being said, the addict himself has to make the effort to change for the better. I have seen many cases where the addict has weak willpower and even though he had the best facilities, he lapsed into addiction again not too long after coming out from rehabilitation.

Many rehabilitation centers either have a hospital like environment or a dormitory and these do not help the addict at all. They are not there to be forced to lead a controlled life but rather to help them as mush as possible to let them know that there is a better future if they work towards it.

I think that it is every addict’s dream to be able to receive drug treatment in Malibu and I believe that with such a good environment, the chances of coming clean rises significantly.

Do you think that living in such a luxurious place, which is like going on a vacation would help an addict better? I do think so!

Alcohol Rehab Mobile Blog

I was told that my neighbors were drug addicts. Well, can you imaging, TWO brothers being addicts? I believe the parents were very disappointed with them. Now that they are in their 50s, probably, they are not able to hold a job for long. I guess it is because of their background and history in drug abuse even though they seem to have already become clean.

Just now, I was told of a blog the is a group effort with stories shared by former drug, alcohol and other substance abuse to help people in the same predicament and let them know that there is help out there if only they seek it and have the will to change things for themselves.

Like I mentioned, this blog on drug and alcohol rehab is a collaborative effort and the administrators are always looking for people who have stories of triumph to share. Well, we all need stories like that to motivate us even if we are not addicts!

Oh yes, I would just like to point out that this is a mobile blog. I don’t know why they decided on a mobile blog instead of a regular blog. I would like to try viewing this blog later with my mobile devices but even if you do not want to read blogs on your mobile phones, this blog can be rendered perfectly on your computer as well.

Better Care Information For Senior Citizens

As more and more people live at a more advanced age, it is quite a challenge for the younger generation who are care givers to these elderly family members. I know how daunting it could be as I was in that position before. Sometimes we need someone to share our worries, our thoughts and experience. Sometimes we require support and expert advice. Well, today, I am happy to let you know that if you are currently in this position or know of someone who is, the best website would be at BetterCaring.com.

BetterCaring.com provides an avenue for people to share and lend support as well as make freely available care news and information, advice from experts and articles on better care.

Apart from these, this website also has information on care homes in the United Kingdom and would also help with placement of the elderly in an appropriate home should the need arises.

I personally find that such a dedicated site is a great way for the community to support and share.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Resource Site

As a daughter living with two senior-aged parents, one who has been suffering from high blood pressure for years, I am very aware that I may one day have to deal with their flailing health.

I read that heart attack is a silent killer and my father, who has high blood pressure is has a high risk of a stroke or heart attack. Inside Cardiac Arrest is very informative site on heart health and it shows the differences between a heart attack and a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

To prevent Sudden Cardiac Arrest, a heart pacer may have to be embedded to control irregular heartbeat. This was what my cousin sister had to be treated for when she was only a teenager.

If you would like to learn more about Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), do watch the video and read up on it on Inside Cardiac Arrest.

Bad Credit Offers Resource Site

With all the easily available credit cards and loans, many of us are living with bad credit. I have to admit that mine is not perfect too but then whose is? I think the percentage is very small.

In many cases, people with bad credit are not eligible for loans but all is not lost as there are still plenty of resources available and it is just a matter of finding the right one that meets our financial needs.

This is where Bad Credit Offers come in. This is a informative site to help people look for bad credit offers whether they are for credit cards, home, personal or auto loans.

Within each offer category, you will be able to compare the various bad credit offers by credit providers so that you can easily decide which is a better offer for you.

As always, I would like to mention that when it comes to financial matters, you should read the fine print and understand 100% what you are committing yourself to.

Free College Scholarship & Grant Information

I have always hated it that I never had the chance to go to college. My parents were unable to put me through college and I had to work while my friends pursued their tertiary education. Sometimes, I wish that I was born later so that by the time I leave high school, I would be able to look for options on the internet to continue my education.

I feel that students nowadays are very lucky to have all the information they need at a click of the mouse. I came across the site Scholarship.com which is an extensive database of grants and scholarships for college. This site provides accurate and up-to-date information for students wishing to pursue higher education without causing their parents financial hardships. For examply, if you are looking for information on scholarships and federal financial aid, this s the place to check.

Also, I find that Scholarship.com has in-depth explanation on the differences in grants, loans and scholarships and where to apply for them.

Free Money Saving Advice From The Thrifty Scot

I have seen many people’s life being wrecked by credit cards but I still feel that we should take better responsibility towards our financial health. There are in fact, many credit cards in the market and more will be coming out soon because there is a strong demand for it.

I think that one problem many people faced when using their credit cards and then getting a shock at the end of the month is that they never read the finer prints. For example, 0% credit cards are so attractive, but is this an introductory offer?

I know many of my friends who have accumulated debts from different credit cards that they keep looking for cards that offer 0% balance transfers to save on paying interest rates.

Personally, I think the credit card is one of the most misused and abused item in our daily life! Everyone should understand what the differences are in credit cards and how to use them properly.

I find the information available on The Thrifty Scot very easy to understand plus they are not trying to sell us anything but give us valuable advice and helps us to look at the big picture with every card and the fancy terms these credit card companies use.
