Christmas is coming soon and actually, it is not a season that I look forward to because of the work involved in getting the house ready to accept guests and socialize. I also hate that I have to keep cracking my head to come up with different recipes for each holiday season. I keep thinking that guests would remember. LOL

Here is a free holiday butter recipe card that you can request for a friend. This freebie offer is only valid for US addresses and only one per household. If you would like to have the recipes right now, you could also view them online online. Link enclosed above.

Here’s a freebie for all of us who like experimenting in the kitchen. I do too, but have to confess that i don’t have time to do that anymore. Besides, who would eat all my food?

This free cookbook actually contains all recipes that use Sun-Maid® Raisins & Dried Fruit. They sound really delicious even though I haven’t seen the recipes yet because unfortunately, this freebie offer is only available to U.S. and Canada addresses. What’s new, huh?

If you are interested, do send in your request as soon as possible as this freebie is subject to withdrawal without prior notice. There is a limit of one cookbook per household only. And remember to allow up to four weeks for delivery.

Free Recipe Videos

A friend of mine is learning how to cook so I handed her a couple of my recipe books. These are recipes that I have collected over the years and painstakingly pasted into books. You know, last time we did not have access to the internet so this was the best I could do. I also showed her my recipe collection blog.

My friend reverted to me and said that she is lazy to learn if she has to read and read. She is more a visual person so I guess she would learn better by watching videos, which led me to discover this website called YouTube Delicious for her.

Be warned, this website is ad intensive. However, if you focus on the videos, you should do fine. There are quite a few wonderful video recipes and would be well worth your visit if you just tread carefully.

Free Jolly Cook Recipes

My sister told me that she will be hosting a dinner over Memorial weekend. She is a little apprehensive since this will be her first formal dinner at her new home. She even had to buy brand new sets of silverware!

I found this Jolly Cook website for her which has a wide variety of recipes which she could try out and then present to her guests this coming weekend. It surely will be a good few days of cooking experiment for her!

What I like about Jolly Cook is that we could print out the recipes in print-friendly format. In fact, we could print out all of the recipes and compile a cookbook!

Free Valentine’s Day Recipes

A friend was discussing with me the best eatery to patronize come Valentine’s Day next month. Frankly, Valentine’s Day has gotten too commercialized and everything costs way more money than previously. Inflation? You bet!

I was telling her the best way to avoid the cost is to prepare her own Valentine’s Day dinner. And I have just the right website for her to “snag” some Valentine’s Day recipes! The Holiday Spot has a very good Valentine’s recipe section and they have placed their collection of Valentine’s recipes very well into eight different categories.

The saying that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach and it is so true. I believe that if you prepare these recipes for love and with love, you will see amazing results. :-)

Free Authentic Italian Recipes

There’s an “Italian” couple who lives nearby who runs an “Italian” restaurant in our city. I say “Italian” because the man is Italian but the wife is a lady from my hometown.

The funny thing is that the wife is the cook in the Italian restaurant and I was telling my mother, why should I go to their restaurant for Italian food when it’s not even an authentic Italian restaurant? I might as well cook my own “Italian” dishes, right?

So, I went online to search for some Italian recipes and found this real Italian recipes website called Olive Garden. If you are also looking to whip up some Italian food in your kitchen, you may want to check Olive Garden. There’s a good selection of Italian recipes that you could experiment with.

All Recipes, Free Recipes

Although I love cooking and baking, it is just too bad that I can no longer find time for this hobby. However, this does not stop me from collecting recipes in my online recipe box. I still remember a long time ago where I had to cut recipes out from newspapers and magazines and pasted them on foolscap paper!

A couple of weeks ago, I came across this recipe site called All Recipes. The difference between this recipe site and others that I stumbled upon so far is that real cooks contribute their recipes to All Recipes!

Registering yourself with All Recipes [membership is free] obviously has its benefits like recipe box and cook’s profile. However, if like me, you do not want to register because you have had enough of user IDs and passwords to remember, you can still obtain those recipes for free without hassle!
