Scrapbook Freebies

Although I have featured quite a few websites and blogs that offer digital scrapbooking freebies, I believe I have not featured Scrapbook Freebies before. Well, I did a search of my blog and couldn’t find it, though.

This morning, I came across this Scrapbook Freebies website which I like what they have to offer, from free scrapbook layouts to printable scrapbook pages which I thought that my readers would appreciate as well. As you know, I have a pretty high standard!

Anyway, isn’t it appropriate to feature a scrapbooking freebie website since Christmas is just around the corner and all of us will have so many photos to share? That’s where free scrapbooking pages come in. Hehehe!

Free Cute Digital Scrapbooking Kits

I have such a high standard that it is not easy for me to say that something is really nice but when I came across the blog of DeDe, I have to say that I wished that my blog has such a cute layout as well but brown isn’t my color so if there is such a layout for me, I would wish to have a pastel color scheme instead.

DeDe is a very creative lady offering free digital scrapbooking kits. She also has kits for sale, of course, but is generous enough to offer some of her creative work for free download. But even for her commercial products, she runs promotions all the time so it’s wise to check her blog regularly and try to catch her sale.

If you are planning to download and use any of her freebies, do read her terms of use first so that DeDe will continue to offer freebies for us. Perhaps you could leave me a link to your completed scrapbooking project using DesignZ by DeDe.

Free Cute Friendster Layouts

Last week, we received the announcement that a Malaysian company, MOL Global, is acquiring Friendster. Well, frankly, I have not logged into my Friendster account for ages and would not unless I receive an email notification that someone has sent a friendship request. Anyway, Friendster is still big in many countries this part of the world, like Singapore and Philippines.

I came across this blog by Catesruj who has a very good selection of free cute Friendster layouts. Actually, it’s not very clear that these layouts are for Friendster but if you have a Friendster account, you would recognize the way things are set in a Friendster profile.

Before using these free Friendster layouts, please read the terms of use first so that we can continue to enjoy freebies from designers. Also, perhaps you would like to leave us a link to your Friendster profile to show us how you have made use of one of the free Friendster layouts here for your own profile. Enjoy!

Free Templates, Layouts & Web Graphics

I have a habit of searching the web for free web templates and layouts whenever I am free. It doesn’t mean that I would make use of them because I am so lazy to make changes to my websites and blogs but I just love to see the new stuff that are available.

This morning, I chanced upon this website called Layout Shack. This website offers free MySpace layouts, free WordPress themes and free images and graphics for your web projects from blogs to forums to websites and just about anywhere that you would like to place an image to.

While most websites disallow hotlinking, this one looks like they do not mind. In any case, if you are using anything from this website, do check their terms of use first and comply with them. This would mean that all users will continue to enjoy these freebies.

Free Cute Twitter Bird Icon

I am a little obsessed with Twitter birdie icons right now and I don’t know why. Although I have come across quite a few nice ones recently, I have not selected ONE for my blog. I do have a Twitter widget on my other blog already but would like to add a Twitter “Follow Me” icon too but all these cute icons have made me confused and indecisive!

This morning, I found yet another set of cute Twitter icons. This one has six icons, slightly different from the Twitter bird that we are so familiar with already. Do you think that looking at these bird icons, people will realize that these would point to my Twitter account? Anyway, these six Twitter icons are in a .PSD file. How does one use these icons? Do I crop them from the .PSD file or what? I am so blur.

Free Google Printable Holiday Greeting Cards

Earlier this month, Gmail had a freebie offer for users whereby people were asked to write in with their greetings and name of recipients and Gmail would send out physical greeting cards to these recipients but this was limited to recipients within the United States only.

Well, even so, the cards have run out. Now, Gmail has allowed us to print out these cards and we can send them along. Is that thoughtful of them or what?

Just visit the link that I have provided in this post and you will be able to see that there are six different designs of free Gmail/Google printable holiday greeting cards that would look nice only if you output it on a printer with high quality non-smudge ink! Hehehe!
