I was actually searching for free WordPress themes this morning when I somehow came upon this Photoshop freebies website called Scarletbits. You know, although I have featured quite a few websites that offer Photoshop freebies, I think I prefer those freebies that are offered by female designers. I think it’s because of the feminine touch.

On Scarletbits, although you will notice that the most recent freebie offered was last Christmas, it is still worth spending time here going through the few pages of Photoshop freebies. I am not looking for anything in particular but I still enjoyed myself flipping through pages of Photoshop brushes, patterns, actions, textures, vectors, backgrounds, fonts, PSD templates and other free web elements. I m sure you would too!

I chanced upon this blog this morning called Pink Moustache. I thought that it’s rather an odd name to have for a blog. The funnier thing is that this blog is owned by a lady! Why would anyone want to use the word “moustache” as a blog name? Funny, right?

Jesting about the name aside, I am sure the owner has a very valid reason for it, the freebies here are awesome! Besides vectors and web graphics, you can also find wallpapers of all standard sizes, including 1920×1080, just the size that I am looking for!

If you have time to spare, it is worth going through the designs that are available on Pink Moustache. These are freebies and best of all, these are also available for commercial use too! Enjoy!

I was searching for some good graphics for an iPhone theme that I plan to design but one site led me to another and I had the good fortune to stumble upon Brusheezy. I think I know of this website previously and if I have blogged about it before, I apologize. However, I do believe that for a quality site, there is no harm featuring again.

I am very impressed with the quality designs that are being offered on Brusheezy. If you know me, you will know that I am not easy to be impressed. I have very high standards for creativity even though I have no idea how to use Photoshop and have no creative juice at all but still, I do have a good eye for designs.

On Brusheezy, you can find high quality Photoshop brushes, patterns, textures, actions, shapes and everything that’s Photoshop related. And if I forgot to mention, these are free! Yay!

This morning, I stumbled upon this blog of Deanna Woodland and am so impressed, I going to feature her blog here even though I am not exactly sure if she gives out freebies. Honestly, I couldn’t find any.

However, for people who are into paper craft, especially those who are not so good, they should check out Dee’s Paper Tree for inspiration and ideas. Let me tell you, even though I don’t indulge in paper craft myself, though I have dreamed of doing so, looking at Dee’s designs makes me want to start a paper craft hobby too!

A friend told me that she has started taking guitar lessons again. I was surprised. You CAN play guitar? She has two at home but I didn’t think she could. She didn’t look like she could. She puts me to shame, you know? I have a guitar at home too but never had the inclination to learn! I guess I just do not have the long attention span.

If you are trying to learn guitar, no matter if you already know the basics, you should check out this collection of guitar lessons. I couldn’t make head or tail of the lessons so I can’t tell if they are easy to pick up unsupervised but no harm trying, right? Think of the money you’d be saving just learning guitar lessons from the web!

Did you read about the British boy who spent over a thousand Pounds on FarmVille on Facebook recently, exchanging real cash for FarmVille virtual cash? I think that anyone who does that has too much money to waste. People like me play free games only and if I level up slow, then so be it. There are so many other games to play in the meantime.
