While surfing the internet looking for freebies, I chanced upon this website/company called Skull Candy. I have never heard of it before and it is intriguing. The website is very artistically done but I don’t like the skull but when that is the name of the company ….

Skull Candy’s giving away stickers so of course I have to check out what this company is all about. I think they are first and foremost, manufacturers of headphones and earphones which they then expanded their line of products to include mp3 players, bags and other accessories. Cool!

So yes, Skull Candy is giving away stickers and even if the stickers are in the shape of skulls, if you are a freebie lover, you would still take them, won’t you?

Music transcends all borders, culture, skin colour and traditions, whatever. And although I love to listen to music, I hardly believe in paying for it. This does not mean that I advocate illegal downloading of music but there is the radio, TV and internet streaming. These are all free AND LEGAL.

I stumbled upon this hip hop music network website and they are giving away a free CD called Revenge of the B-Boy which contains twelve tracks from popular international producers and DJs from the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Australia.

Revenge of the B-Boy is a dance CD created with a mix of other genres but the aim is to make you dance. Hear it, feel it. I would like to request for a copy as well because I love dance music. What about you?

Not many people know this but I once dreamt of being a published poet. I sent in my drafts to many publishing houses but they were not interested and some told me that poetry cannot sell and they would not want to invest into an unknown.

If I had known of Self Publishing, I would be a published author by now but I have gotten so many rejections until I believe that they are right, I am not any good in poetry writing so I better forget about it!

Yesterday, I came to know of Author House, a company that assist people like me in becoming published authors. Author House has a team of experts who would be able to guide us no matter if we are publishing our first, second or tenth book.

I blog hop a lot and I see many sites with different things on the sidebar. Some I like, some I think are a waste of blog real estate. One thing I thought I would check out is a Daily Quotation. I think that a good one that is updated daily would add value to the site and give something extra to our blog readers or web browsers.

I found quite a handful of sites that provide daily quotes through a widget but only this one, Think Exist is featured because I like it. Registration is free and once your account is activated, you will have full access to the site and its database of quotations.

With this free membership, you will also be able to participate in the Think Exist forum, use the quotation search engine, save your favourite quotations in your virtual quotation book or contribute quotations to the huge database.

The other day when I featured a website which allows us to send free SMS, many people asked me if it really works and if it is really free. If I remember correctly, for that particular site, they only offer a 30-day free trial.

Today, I stumbled upon this free SMS and MMS website called Sea SMS. The website itself looks so cool you would not think that if offers free SMS or MMS because it looks like a play site for kids.

I am not sure how reliable this site is though or if the message will arrive to its intended recipient instantly. Also, I am not sure if the recipient of your message will be charged, or will the telephone number be compiled for marketing purposes. This site offers free service so these are the things that we expect, but I hope that it is 100% free without advertisement of have telephone numbers compromised.

Having said that, Sea SMS also has a premium package where paying members will have access to even more features. It is worth to check out this service if you send lots of text messages. I send more than 300 every month and seriously need an alternative!
