I stumbled upon the website of Dezinerfolio and noticed that the layout looked kind of familiar. Ah it dawned on me that there is a free WordPress layout that looks like this. hehehe… this is the website of that designer!

Here on Dezinerfolio, what soft of designer freebies can you look forward to? There are already a whole list of quality stuff like WordPress and Drupal themes, typography, flash gallery, desktop wallpapers, fonts, backgrounds, icons, stationery and many more.

A problem I have with this website, though, is not with their design or navigation but with the name. I couldn’t spell it right and even if I could, I always have to double check. I don’t know why! Perhaps it will be different if at least I know the meaning of Deziner.

If you are a webmaster or trying to be one, LOL here is a good freebie and resource website from Franz Jeitz called fudgegraphics. I gather that some of these freebies are from Franz himself, while some are sourced from other graphic design websites. Yes, there are many.

It’s enough to say that all those graphic and vector freebies offered here on fudgegraphics by Franz himself or other designers are of high quality and wouldn’t disappoint. Like other similar websites and blogs, fudgegraphics offers brushes, vectors, wallpapers, textures, backgrounds, icons, prints, photos, etc, in high resolution.

I know I have already featured way too many websites that offer digital scrapbooking freebies. But what to do when the stuff I come across gets better and better?

This isn’t to say that the old websites that I feature are no longer good. In fact, I believe most webmasters do update their sites fairly regularly too because they are passionate about their craft.

Free Decorative Lettering Sets

While surfing around randomly looking for ideas for my web project, I chanced upon this beautiful freebie site called Renny’s Niche. I tell you, the website address is really not that easy to type out and one could easily misspell and get the wrong site!

What Renny is giving away is sets of decorative lettering or initials that you can use, like for example, to format the first letter of your paragraph much like story books of the old days. Of course, there are also many uses of these decorative lettering and it is up to how creative you are to make the full use of them!

Renny allows us to download these lettering sets in .zip format but remember, these are for private individual use only, not for commercial use. Still, if you were to use them for your web project, I would expect you to provide a link back to Renny’s Niche. What do you think?

It’s funny that running two freebies and contest blogs, one of the most common questions I get asked is if I myself win anything. Yes, I have won many premiums and lesser prizes; I have also won cash prizes and holiday trips. One thing that I won that proves to be the most useful was the Apply iPhone 2G. Of course, I would love to upgrade it to iPhone 3G but only if I won it.

So far, I haven’t won anything really major and am still waiting for my turn to win a house or at least a car. I believe that when we win, no matter if the prize was just a CD or DVD or cash from hitting the jackpot at the casino, we must have Lady Luck smiling upon us.

I know that many people do not believe in luck but you know, I believe that if the prize is yours, you don’t have to submit numerous entries. One would suffice!

As a webmaster of various sites and blogs, I try to make my work easier by looking for free content. Of course, I do not copy content from other websites and neither do I have guest bloggers. I try to look for these freebies because I KNOW that other webmasters would find them useful.

Today, I found this games website, 2D Play, which has plenty of free web based games that we could play without having to register with the website or download any file at all. Naturally, we do not even have to provide and credit card details. Just so you know, this website is ad-supported but that is fine with me.

2D Play is different from other games websites in the sense that if you have a blog or website, you can host 2D Play games so that your visitors could play 2D Play games right from your site! How awesome is that?
