If you keep animals, you will know how vulnerable they are. they get almost the same kinds of illnesses that humans get and yet, most owners do not seem to give their animals and pets better food, supplements or even medication. A lot of people I know abandon their pets then their dogs and cats become old or sick.

I was browsing the web when one site led me to another and I landed on the website of ArtBox7. It is a commercial site that sells graphics but it also runs giveaways sometimes through other art and design blogs and websites.

Stefan, the owner, also encourage readers to sign up to the newsletter where a monthly winner will be selected to win a supreme graphic set worth US$99.99. The winner has the freedom to choose his preferred prize.

I think that winners of the “Supreme Set” can use the graphics on commercial sites even though it is free since it is a prize. Anyway, if you are lucky enough to win, check with Stefan. Good luck!

A reader wrote to me to let me know of a photo contest that he came across. This photo contest is a collaboration between Fujifilm and Rite Aid Pharmacy so you can expect some really generous prizes up for grabs!

There are three categories in this photo contest; Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Graduation. Actually, this seasonal photo contest began on 1st May, 2010 but I am lazy and only managed to post this up today. Anyway, fret not. If you are interested, this contest ends on June 26, 2010 at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time so there is still plenty of time.

This contest is only open to legal residents of the United States or the District of Columbia who are 18 years old or older. I wonder, because these are “people” photo contest, if the entrants are required to obtain release letters from their “models”.

Have you already taken your summer vacation? I haven’t although the summer will soon be over! Hearing my friends talk about their funny summer vacation last night reminded me of the one where my sister, her boyfriend and I drove to Atlanta. My sister lives in Tennessee, so Atlanta is just a neighboring state. However, we were all unfamiliar with the roads and ended up going around and round, losing our way and ended up at the police station, where the police had to show us the way back to our hotel. It was embarrassing then but it’s funny now that it’s over!

The next time I visit Atlanta, I guess I would be better off going on one of the very popular Atlanta tours offered by Trusted Tours & Attractions! At least I would not have to waste time going around in circles but I am planning my next vacation to London, preferably, as I would like to visit the Madame Tussauds wax museum.
