Free Crochet Patterns

I always wanted to learn to crochet properly. I used to do it in my own way and my knots kept getting undone and my yarn unravels, spoiling my handiwork. I thought that if I could do it properly, I would have many things to crochet but I guess I will never be able to find the time. If I do have the time, I would probably prefer to rest my fingers! LOL

In any case, I do have a few friends who are very good with crocheting. They get their crochet patterns from imported magazines, which I thought is pretty costly. Yarn and accessories are not cheap already, you know, so they should think of saving a little money in other ways to indulge in their hobby!

Free WordPress Themes For Your Website

A couple of days ago, I set up a WordPress powered website, as suggested by friends who told me that I would be more comfortable with the management and up-keeping of it, compared to a conventional website. The one I did was a charity website for an NGO.

I went searching for a free WordPress theme that would be suitable for a website, and not a blog and found LivingOS. This is a blog run by a Church Minister by the name of Tim Hyde, so he knows what a Church website requires.

I am happy to find that he has two pages of WordPress themes for free use, but a link back at the footer is required, of course. He also accepts donations via PayPal.

If you are looking for a website theme and power with WordPress, this is the place t. Trust me, I’ve been EVERYWHERE!

Free Dreamweaver Templates

I am in the process of building a charity website and at the moment looking for an appropriate template. My friend advised me to look for free Dreamweaver templates. Well, I really cannot differentiate one template from another. I have a personal website but I don’t think that the template I used was Dreamweaver, perhaps just plain CSS template.

Well, I went to search for free Dreamweaver templates like my friend told me to. So far, I have no found the perfect template that I would like to use for my website but I found this website, Dreamweaver-templates.net that offers a good selection of free Dreamweaver templates.

If you would like to use them, make sure to read through their Terms of Use first. Probably you will have to provide a link back to their website but that’s just a small price to pay for free use of their Dreamweaver template, right?

When I was in high school, one of the things I collect are posters. It did not matter if they were celebrity posters or movie posters or posters of scenery or advertisements, as long as it’s a poster, I would collect it. However, that’s history because I no longer collect posters.

When I was in school, the radio was my best companion. I love listening not only to FM radio but also Shortwave radio where I could listen to radio broadcasts from around the world. However, once internet came into my life, my radio hobby died a natural death. This does not mean that I no longer love the radio, though. It just means that I have upgraded to streaming radio broadcasts online.

Free Business Cards from AMD

While looking for technology news, I chanced upon this freebie offer from AMD. They have two different business cards for you; Power and Fire. Once you have selected either Power or Fire, you get to select your choice of design.

You will be guided to enter the required particulars like name, address, telephone number and email address. You will also be shown the front and back designs of your card. Do note that all cards will be printed with the AMD logo. Well, these cards are free so what could we expect, right?

Also, make sure that you are particulars are CORRECT. Double check, triple check. Once the cards are printed, there’s nothing you or AMD, could do. So far, I have not read about anyone who have already received these cards, but we could always try our luck, right?
