FREEmium Free Premium WordPress Theme

If you know me, you will know that I run multiple blogs, and all my self-hosted blogs and websites are powered by WordPress so I am always on the look out for free themes. Throughout the years, I have learnt to only download themes from the website of the designer or owner, so if you are new to WordPress, you should note this.

I came upon this free premium theme called FREEmium a couple of days ago during one of my searches. I am actually looking for a free WordPress theme that is suitable for my WordPress powered website.

FREEmium looks like it could do the work except that I do not have the time to customize it to my requirement. Looking for a theme is one thing, customizing it is another. Well, I’ve already downloaded it but will sleep on this first. Why don’t you check it out?

Free WordPress eCommerce Theme

Some of you may know that I run an eCommerce store. However, lately, I have been felling like I should revamp it but have no idea how to go about it. I saw a blogger who converted her WordPress blog into an ecommerce site but the layout was la WordPress theme that I came across before.

I then went searching for a WordPress eCommerce theme and found this Crafty Cart by The King Cart. Isn’t it cute an informal? I too would like to use something like this right now, it looks like there is only ONE eCommerce WordPress theme. Also, there are not many payment or shipping options that it could support.

Free WordPress Themes For Your Website

A couple of days ago, I set up a WordPress powered website, as suggested by friends who told me that I would be more comfortable with the management and up-keeping of it, compared to a conventional website. The one I did was a charity website for an NGO.

I went searching for a free WordPress theme that would be suitable for a website, and not a blog and found LivingOS. This is a blog run by a Church Minister by the name of Tim Hyde, so he knows what a Church website requires.

I am happy to find that he has two pages of WordPress themes for free use, but a link back at the footer is required, of course. He also accepts donations via PayPal.

If you are looking for a website theme and power with WordPress, this is the place t. Trust me, I’ve been EVERYWHERE!

Free Premium WordPress Theme

While surfing the internet looking for a free WordPress theme for my new blog, I almost gave up when I decided to key in “free premium wordpress theme” in the search engine. And that led me to discover this free premium theme by R. Bhavesh.

I was very happy at first because I have finally found the perfect theme for my blog. I wanted one that is professional looking and this one certainly is. However, I faced a lot of problems customizing this theme. I know, I am not good at all with CSS but then I don’t know why I kept getting errors.

Another thing is that I could not edit my .php files directly in my Presentation and so I had to download/edit/upload each time I wanted to change details here and there. It was tedious.

And for the functions that are broken and could not be fixed [by me], I just deleted them all. I could live without those without missing them so it is fine. I am now using it on my new iPhone blog and very happy with the end result.

Download Free Beautiful WordPress Themes

Since hosting my own blogs, I wonder how many websites I have surfed to that offer free WordPress Themes. I tell you, I am so very fussy that I flipped pages after pages of sites and downloaded over a hundred themes to try on my sites. I know that I could view the preview or demo first but then I also wanted to see if I could customize the theme by myself for my own needs. If a theme is too complex to customize then I have to let it go. Too bad, right?

Here’s one of the latest sites that I came across just now called WP Designer. It’s a site that has premium WordPress themes as well as plenty of free themes. I ended up not getting any of the themes from here because they are not suitable for the nature of my blog.

However, if you have been looking for fresh themes for your blog to usher in the New Year, you may want to check out WP Designer. It’s weird that in the one year since I started my self-hosted WordPress blogs, and started searching for themes, I did not come across this site before. I must have been living in a cave. Eeekkk!!!
