I was looking for some reading material online when I chanced upon the website of Nancy Arant Williams. To be frank, her books are not of the genre that I normally read.

However, if Christian fiction is the kind of books you like reading, visit the website of Nancy Arant Williams by clicking on the link I have provided in this post and download the 17 minibooks in PDF format.

Of course, Nancy also sells her books. Currently, they are priced at US$12 each. Good value, if you ask me. To buy them, check out Nancy’s website to see where they are sold. Let me know how you like her writing by leaving a comment.

Win Supreme Graphic Set Worth US$99.99

I was browsing the web when one site led me to another and I landed on the website of ArtBox7. It is a commercial site that sells graphics but it also runs giveaways sometimes through other art and design blogs and websites.

Stefan, the owner, also encourage readers to sign up to the newsletter where a monthly winner will be selected to win a supreme graphic set worth US$99.99. The winner has the freedom to choose his preferred prize.

I think that winners of the “Supreme Set” can use the graphics on commercial sites even though it is free since it is a prize. Anyway, if you are lucky enough to win, check with Stefan. Good luck!

Free Software License Keys

I was lucky to come across this gaming and technology blog called Buzz99. It has one section where the blogger provides information on free software license keys and as a freebie lover who tries her best not to be a pirate, I found the free programs featured on Bizz99 very useful.

Most of these programs on Buzz99 are premium programs which means that we have to pay to obtain the full license key but sometimes, even premium programs offer free keys. Buzz99 brings us the information when free keys are available.

I find quite a handful of programs featured here quite useful and I think it will take me some time to download the files and explore the programs but I really don’t mind having a few more full-fledged programs on my computer, especially when I don’t have to pay for them!

Download Free Mobile Ringtones

I use two mobile phones; one is a Nokia E61i while the other is Apple iPhone. Despite the numerous ringtones that are already preloaded on both my phones, I still feel the need to keep looking for new ones to be uploaded and use.

I came across this website that offers downloads of free ringtones just this morning and am delighted to see that ringtones are very well organized into genres. Before downloading, you can listen to the mp3 file first so that you will know exactly what you will be getting.

I have downloaded a couple of files and they are very easy to do so. On this site, you have the option to download the ringtone file to your iPhone or to your computer first. With the many ringtones available, I believe you can change a new ringtone everyday.

I haven’t found time to upload to my phone yet. But it is not difficult. Enjoy!

Web Graphic Freebie Resources

While surfing the web for some free stuff a couple of mornings ago, I chanced into this website called Creattica Daily and like the freebies that it has featured. Sometimes, I like to browse through resource websites like this because the owner has scoured the web for them, so I don’t have to.

Creattica (so difficult to spell and pronounce!) Daily has a long list of freebies from Photoshop brushes to free icon sets, free fonts, free templates, free textures, free desktop backgrounds and free stock images among others.

Like I said, all these freebies were sourced from other design websites so you will have to go to the links provided to grab the freebies. If you have an on-going web project, it is a good idea to check out Creattica Daily.

MyWay Photo Contests: Mother’s Day, Father’s Day & Graduation

A reader wrote to me to let me know of a photo contest that he came across. This photo contest is a collaboration between Fujifilm and Rite Aid Pharmacy so you can expect some really generous prizes up for grabs!

There are three categories in this photo contest; Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Graduation. Actually, this seasonal photo contest began on 1st May, 2010 but I am lazy and only managed to post this up today. Anyway, fret not. If you are interested, this contest ends on June 26, 2010 at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time so there is still plenty of time.

This contest is only open to legal residents of the United States or the District of Columbia who are 18 years old or older. I wonder, because these are “people” photo contest, if the entrants are required to obtain release letters from their “models”.

Digital Freebies For Photographers, Scrapbookers & Designers

A friend told me to feature this website called “HG Designs”, strangely, the name of the blog is totally different from the URL, because it has many digital freebies for photographers, scrapbook enthusiasts and designers which she found useful in her home projects.

All these freebies are for personal use only and those who would like to use them on commercial projects would have to purchase a commercial use license.

Even though I am not a digital scrapbooking hobbyist, I still love to check out digital freebies like these because I appreciate the creativity put into the designs and wonder why I cannot be as creative myself.
