As a former dog owner where two of my dogs required special diet, I certainly understand how a good diet could change their health for the better. At the same time, such food could sometimes be too pricey if we do not know where to get them at a discount or special price.

I am sure if you are a digital scrapbooking hobbyist, you will find that you will never have enough of choices of layouts and embellishments. I have just started this hobby too and I find that I spend way too much time online looking for these freebies! Way more time than I spend on the scrapbook itself. LOL

If you are looking for something more interesting than mere digital scrapbooking, how about scrapbooking with PowerPoint. Today, I feature a website that not only teaches us how to do it but also offers plenty of freebies for us to play around with.

I am sure, after reading the tutorial, you would want to start on your own scrapbooking PowerPoint project. Nevermind, download away. Like I said, they are all free! I am still finding my way around conventional scrapbooking so I will only start this later but I am bookmarking the site for sure!

Creative Web Freebies

I came across this website a little while back but didn’t have time to blog about it as I was on a one week road trip to Singapore. Anyway, if you are looking for web freebies like graphics, Photoshop elements, vectors, brushes and everything that a web master needs, then you should check out Creative Nerds.

I may not be a creative person myself but I do know a good design when I see one. Design freebies created by Creative Nerds are not offered too regularly but it’s a good idea to bookmark the website and check them out occasionally.

Too bad that even though there are so many creative elements for free here, I don’t even have use for them right now. Do you?

Free Audio Books For Youths

I love reading but had to stop reading because I became too attached to the computer and internet. A lot of my work is web based so I don’t even have time to hold a book anymore since most of the stuff I read are available online.

And then I discovered the joys of audio books. Good quality audio books are not easy to find though but today, I have the luck to come across Sync, a website that offers for free downloads, audio books targeted at youths, beginning Summer 2010.

These audio books, in MP3 format, will become available beginning 1st July until 1st September, 2010. Bookmark the link I have enclosed in this post and grab classic book titles like Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson and Frankenstein by Mary Shelley when they become available.

Free Mp3 Downloads By Garage Bands

If you use any social network at all, I am sure you would be familiar with iLike already. It’s a music application that allows social network users to share their favourite music and at the same time, allows artistes and wannabes to share their music with fans across all major social channels.

iLike, on their own website, offers free mp3 downloads everyday. The problem is that the tracks by “garage bands” may not be what you like to listen to but then when it’s free, there’s no complaints to be made, right?

Anyway, to get hold of any free tracks on iLike is really easy. Just click on the orange link that says Free MP3 and a download window will pop up. Save it to your computer. I didn’t grab any free tracks yet, so let me know how you like them.

A friend told me about this freebie offer so I decided to feature it here. However, not everyone could request for this freebie since we are required to provide them with our business address and corporate email address. As you can see, their target are corporate clients who may want to order customized products to be given away at events or such.

It looks to me that the company will send out samples internationally so it doesn’t matter where you are from, as long as you are a business. They are also able to send out UBS flash drive samples that include accessories like key ring, lanyard or gift box. However, I think you will need to pay an additional fee for this.

While looking for freebies online this morning, any kind of freebie, I came across this freebie courtesy of Bio-Systems International for filamentous identification charts. I have to admit that I have no idea what filamentous is but then again my mind’s a huge mass a blurriness when it comes to Biology and Science.
