For people who keep asking me why I waste time searching for a discount or promo code first before making a purchase, all I can say is that they do not understand the satisfaction of shopping online. Granted, I love shopping online because it is convenient but that is only half the fun. People who have shopped successfully with coupon codes will understand the addictive feeling of saving some money just by using the codes!

My latest discovery is eCouponCodes. Please know that although there are many similar websites, each site offers coupons from varied online stores so you have to do some homework.

eCouponCodes features promotional codes from an extensive list of online merchants. From observation, this site is updated daily and as soon as a discount code or promotion is available. Before making a purchase online, you should check out the deals there first and you would be surprised with the savings you will get!

I actually was looking for deals on DVDs as my friend’s birthday is coming up and I could not think of any appropriate gift then I remember that he has a vast collection of DVDs. You can imagine my delight when I came across DVD Planet Coupons. I could either get a discount off my total purchase or I could opt for free shipping, which is available for orders above $25. Well, I’ll have to think about it. I still have some time before the big day!

I actually found this website very interesting because I really admire people who could create amazing craft work. Well, I can sew a little but absolutely have no passion for it.

This website, free appliqué, allows people to download appliqué pattern for their quilts, crafts and clipart and many more. There are so many patterns available that it is really up to your imagination how to make the best out of the patterns.

Apart from the free appliqué patterns, you can also get free baby quilt patterns or get ideas for your craft projects. Some people I know find crafting and quilting really therapeutic. As for me, I get all stressed out trying to get the perfect stitch! Well, I think I better not make any myself and resolve to just admire the work of others!

I do have a knack of sniffing out exciting contests, especially those that give out Ca$h. I don’t even remember how I discovered the AnitoKid, I think it must be from my blog hopping activities.

Well, great news for all bloggers. The Anitokid is running a contest where he is giving away ONE $100 prize to the blogger who submits the best review of his blog, The Anitokid Chronikos – Billiards and Philippine sports. You can write it anyhow you like, in any language, as long as you link to his blog using the keyword Billiards and also to the Anniversary Review post on his blog so that other bloggers can read and participate in this contest as well.

Although the Anitokid has said that you can write in any tone you wish, if you have criticisms, do make them constructive so that the AnitoKid can make improvements.

The closing date of this contest is November 12th, 2007, 11:00 PM, Philippine time. It’s still a long way off. The benefit is that you will have plenty of time to write a quality review.

The Freebie Source Directory

If you have been reading my blogs, you know I love freebies! It takes dedication to run not one but TWO freebies blog. I scour the internet for free stuff all the time and I get a kick when I am able to find something really rare to share with my readers.

Today, I did not discover any particular freebie but a site called The Freebies Source. This is a free stuff directory. I have always wanted to make a site like that but I don’t know how to do it and did not want to bother people to help me, hence the blogs.

I surfed through The Freebie Source and am happy to report there are many freebies and free samples which are all neatly categorized. So it’s easy to navigate the site to look for what you want.

Do check out the site because I am not going to post what goodies they have to offer!

I previously wrote about a website that offers Free Legal & Insurance Advice. Well, here is another one. At The Law Dot Com, you can get free legal advice and discuss any legal matter with lawyers in the forum. You will also be able to download free legal forms and get free legal outlines on any legal issue.

If you have read the FAQs section and have discussed your issue at the forums and still not satisfied with the free advice given, you can locate a lawyer near you and get a free legal consultation as well, although I have been told that you would get a quicker response on the forums!

If you would like to find out the definitions of any specific legal term, check out TheLaw dictionary too.

I find this website really useful because I am sure that there is always a time in our lives where we need a little legal advice. This site allows us t throw our case open to be discussed by experienced lawyers and for free too! Check it out!

One Click Weather Forecast

I rely quite heavily on the weather forecasts and used to have a widget on my desktop. Although it is quite useful, it has some features which I found redundant. MY friend told me about FastWx Weather Forecasts. When I opened the page, I was rather surprised that it is almost blank. So I keyed in my zip code and hit Enter on the button which says “Weather”.

Amazingly, there was a full page of weather conditions rendered including current condition, hourly temperature and weather for the following five days. I find it very nifty and I could customize the page to only show me information that I want to see.

Fast Wx Weather Forecasts is now bookmarked because it is nifty, user-friendly, loads fast and accurate!

I know I am guilty of always saying that one contest is the easiest to participate and then I find another way that surpasses that. Well, this one takes the cake. Ashwin Khanna’s Blog Extravaganza has been making the waves on the internet because he is giving away $2500 cold hard cash to one lucky person at the end of his link fest.

To participate, and anybody could do this with both eye closed, bloggers have to copy, paste and publish a fixed paragraph of text on their own blogs. And the text goes like this, and I quote copy and paste:
