I really had fun playing with this glitter text generator. There are so many styles for the text it’s just amazing. I have played with it for a couple of hours but I still haven’t found one that I feel live saving to my computer and use because each one seems more beautiful than the last.

Besides glitter text, you will also find layouts for Friendster, MySpace and Xanga. You can also find small icons, graphics, clipart, background, blinkies and many more to spruce up your website or blog and these are all for free use. Just make sure that you do not hotlink the images.

I am at the moment playing with the text generator. Hopefully I can make a banner with my name on it or something, for my blogs!

I was introduced to blinkies not too long ago. These are very cute images that you use as your signature in forums or blog and website. These little rectangular images could actually help you make a statement with their bold words. You can, of course, make your own, or if you are like me, who don’t even know how to go about it, you can just use these blinkies like they are your own.

Of all the blinkie sites that I came upon, most creators do not require a link back but if you want to use them, you will have to download them and upload them to your own server.

Although there are many blinkie sites and swappers, I am only featuring one. You can check the bottom of the page which has a long list of other blinkie makers.

I have always hated it that I never had the chance to go to college. My parents were unable to put me through college and I had to work while my friends pursued their tertiary education. Sometimes, I wish that I was born later so that by the time I leave high school, I would be able to look for options on the internet to continue my education.

I feel that students nowadays are very lucky to have all the information they need at a click of the mouse. This site provides accurate and up-to-date information for students wishing to pursue higher education without causing their parents financial hardships. Free Ebooks From Baen Books

Baen Books is giving away free downloads for a number of ebooks. According to the website, there is absolutely no strings attached. There is a whole long list of titles for us to download. I did not count but it could be around a hundred titles and I believe more will be added to the list soon.

What I like about this site is that all the titles come in various formats. Previously, I have come across many free ebook sites that only come in a certain format and I end up having to download and install all sorts of readers on my computer just so that I could read the ebooks.

If you live reading, you should check out this list. I see quite a few interesting titles and can’t wait to read them. I wish I have more time!

I have seen many people’s life being wrecked by credit cards but I still feel that we should take better responsibility towards our financial health. There are in fact, many credit cards in the market and more will be coming out soon because there is a strong demand for it.

I think that one problem many people faced when using their credit cards and then getting a shock at the end of the month is that they never read the finer prints. For example, 0% credit cards are so attractive, but is this an introductory offer?

I know many of my friends who have accumulated debts from different credit cards that they keep looking for cards that offer 0% balance transfers to save on paying interest rates.

Personally, I think the credit card is one of the most misused and abused item in our daily life! Everyone should understand what the differences are in credit cards and how to use them properly.

I find the information available on The Thrifty Scot very easy to understand plus they are not trying to sell us anything but give us valuable advice and helps us to look at the big picture with every card and the fancy terms these credit card companies use.

Free Personal Finance Manager

Some of you may remember that I run an online store, small it may be. And as long as I am in business, there are accounts to take care of. So far, I have been doing everything manually but then I thought that I would find a free programme so that I could go paperless. My search brought me to this free personal finance manager called AceMoney Lite.

As you can see from the word LITE, there is a premium version of AceMoney with more features, but the Lite version is sufficient for home finances and small businesses. I have yet to try all the features, though, but I am going to set up different accounts for my home and business.

What I do not like about certain software is that they could be pretty confusing and I end up abandoning my projects. I hope that AceMoney will be very user-friendly for me. If you are tying this, please let me know!
