If you are one of those chronic sticky notes users with notes stuck around your computer monitor, here is good news for you! LOL Sandy Paper is giving away free sticky notes samples, one per household in the United States ONLY. The catch is that these notes will be printed with the URL of Sandy Paper. Fair deal me thinks, since you will be getting something for free while they will get to advertise their product too.

I love to use sticky notes as well, but I tend to stick only a couple at the same time. For me, having too many sticky notes on my screen would cause me to think that all these tasks or reminders are of the same importance and then I would overlook them AGAIN. I’d love to have this freebie but too bad I am not eligible. SIGH!

A friend told me that if I change the language on Facebook, there is an option to select Pirate’s English. I didn’t bother to check if this was true or how my Facebook page would turn out to be if I did select that as my default language. I wouldn’t understand it, anyway.

My friend, Daniel, asked me about making online payment via PayPal. He said that he has to use it to make payment to a condo owner in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as he is planning a trip home to visit his extended family. Frankly, I was shocked when he told me how much the condo rates are!

Just this morning, and I am going to let Daniel know pronto, I got to know that Accor Hotels is running a limited time only Asia Pacific city super sale where hotel rates in 27 cities in 10 Asia Pacific countries, including Malaysia, will be reduced by up to 60%.

Booking of rooms has to be done online at the website of Accor Hotels from 23rd to 29th June, 2009, that’s this week itself for stays between July 10th and September 30th, 2009. While different rates may apply for different hotel brands, you can expect to book a room for as low as US$25 per night!

I got to know that this Accor Hotels City Super Sale coincides with airlines slashing air fares to Asia Pacific which means that if Daniel were to take advantage of this sale by Accor Hotels, not only would he save on air fare to Kuala Lumpur, he would also save on accommodation. I think it’s an awesome not to grab these opportunities. Flight and accommodation expenses are what kill our travel budget, anyway!

Quite a few of my friends, who are young mothers, are absolutely crazy about Bento, the cute Japanese lunch boxes. Packing Bentos is an art form called Bento Art and if you search the web for Bento art images, you surely would be blown away by their creativity.

I really do not have time for Bento or Bento Art but then I don’t have children. Even though I am busy, I still have time to appreciate Bento and Bento art from the blogs of friends who indulge in this popular Japanese art form.

If you are looking for Bento recipes, no matter if you are new to Bento art or an old hand already, Makiko Itoh runs this blog called Just Bento where you will be able to find awesome free Bento recipes. A friend told me that he is paying a monthly subscription to play an online game. The game is very popular but I still do not see why someone should PAY to PLAY when there are so many other free games to play online. The sum is not much, but still! This friend also plays Pet Society and Restaurant City on Facebook with me but he says that they are not as exciting as the game that he is paying to play.

I found this very interesting game site called Daily Games which I am sure, if I find that the games are interesting enough, so would many other people, since my standard is HIGH and it is not that easy to capture my attention. Let’s see if the games here on Daily Games, which is regularly updated with new games, would interest him enough to stop paying his monthly game subscription. LOL
