October 11th is National Coming Out Day – A day for GLBTs (Gays, lesbians, bisexuals and trans genders to “come out” to celebrate living live openly and honestly as GLBTs. The Human Rights Campaign Action Center which runs the site, TALK ABOUT IT, is giving away coming out day kit which includes guides, posters, balloons, stickers or other things.

Individuals can request for these kits through the website of Human Rights Campaign Action Center. These kits come in two sizes depending on the number of people in your get-together. HRC does not allow other people to request for these kits on behalf of, that means only GLBTs may request for them. Do take note.

I wonder if “Coming Out Day” is celebrated elsewhere.
