Although I had never been a huge fan of MSN messenger, I have to admit that I became a fan when they upgraded it to Windows Live Messenger and I totally heart Windows Live Mail. Of course, the suite of Windows Live products includes more than just the Messenger or Mail.

Today, while searching for freebies, I chanced upon this website of Windows Live Freebies where we could download lots of freebies to enhance our Messenger, desktop and other Windows application.

Cross Stitch Freebie Designs

Earlier this morning, I have the luck to stumble upon the website of Polstitches Designs. Of all the needle craft work, I used to like cross stitch the most. Perhaps it was the easiest for me to do but even so, I know that my stitches were wrong but I didn’t care. As long as the picture that I was cross stitching appeared on the front, I was very happy.

One problem back then was that whenever I ran out of a colour thread, I would substitute it with another thread of similar shade. I know, I spoilt the picture but I was just a kid. LOL

If you are looking for free cross stitch designs, Polstitches Designs has a good selection for you to download. I do not know how complete these freebie packs are, if they come with a printable chart and thread numbers but it’s worth checking out.

I am sure you are familiar with Apple’s iTunes program. Well, they have a free track weekly if you download and install the iTunes program. This week, in the spirit of Christmas, they are giving away a free download of Faith Hill’s O Holy Night.

Honestly speaking, I do not enjoy listening to festive music as much as I do listening to other genres. Festive or seasonal songs like these give me goose bumps but if you would like a free Christmas song, particularly one that is by Faith Hill, go download it from iTunes! It’s free but you must have an account with iTunes.

Free Premium WordPress Themes

A friend asked me how many blogs I have. I just counted and to my own horror, I have fifteen WordPress-powered blogs and five Blogspot blogs. SIGH!!!

Although blogs keep me busy, especially those that I host myself, once I started using WordPress blogs, there was no turning back. I loved that I could change my themes whenever the mood strikes me. As you probably know, I spend a lot of time scouring the web for free wordpress themes. I could never see why anyone would want to pay for their WordPress themes when there are so many beautiful ones that are free!

Lately, I have been online searching for beautiful free WordPress themes again. Some of you may know that I have a personal website. Well, I have been thinking to revamp it and turn it into a WordPress-powered website; not a blog but a personal website. It’s just a matter of installing the right theme, you know?

A friend was looking for some activities that she could use to help keep her toddler occupied. As you know, it’s the holidays but my friend doesn’t have too much time to entertain the child. I thought that these activity sheets for preschoolers would be suitable for her kid.

My friend was happy with the freebies offered by Activity Pad so I might as well share them with readers of my blog. I know that many of you love freebies like these, for the children and for home and also for small arts and craft projects.

You know, there are so many such designs on the market that we can’t possibly buy them all, right? We may even have missed out on an issue or two if we buy them at the magazine stand, right?
