If you are into virtual world communities, I am sure you would be delighted to know that there is a new website called metaRL that lets you play games and earn metaPoints. Do you like crossword puzzles? I do but I am afraid of getting addicted to the game because I cannot spare the time. I used to cut out crossword puzzles from the Sunday papers but with the internet we no longer have to do that. Just go to websites dedicated to crossword puzzles and start playing.

Clutu is a crossword puzzle site that we can generate a puzzle and play on our own or invite friends to play with us. We can also open our puzzle so that other puzzle players on Clutu can join in.

There is an option to make the Clutu generated puzzle competitive too. I have yet to play on Clutu but I just may start now that I have more free time on my hands!

What am I but a serious time waster! If you look at the number of games sites that I frequent, you would think that I do nothing the whole day but play games. But I do work, seriously! However, I am not into serious gaming though I have tried that but end up with a spinning head as I was unable to stand viewing images at 3D angles on my screen for long hours.

So what I do now is to play simple games that can be played on the web without downloading or even pay for my games. These games are not too complex and do not take too much time. They don’t even require much skills.

Check out Token Arcade and at the header of the site, you can see that there are many kinds of games available at the site. The genre may be the same like “action, sports, puzzle, etc.” but I found games here that I didn’t see elsewhere.

HHmm that’s why you see me hopping from one game portal to another!

If you have lots of free time to waste, this is the site for you to while away your time. Addicting Games is a site like its name suggests. There are lots of games here that are addictive.

I recently discovered it while looking for free mobile games for my device and although these games are web-based and played online, I could not resist myself from playing one or two rounds, or so I thought!

I ended up playing a lot of them over and over again. Most of these games are SERIOUS TIME WASTERS!!! I would like to caution you to only go to Addicting Game id you have plenty of free time. Otherwise, you will end up not getting any work done, like me!

I still know of many free games sites where you can play even at work. Just remember not to turn your speakers on! And make sure there is no one standing behind you! Other than that, just ENJOY!

Freeware & Shareware MAC Games

I have featured some games site before and all of them were for PC games. Ah… did I miss out MAC users? I have been told that MAC users are always left out of all the fun because they don’t have as wide a variety of programs as PC users.

But never mind, I am going to make it up today. Here’s a site called Download MAC Games which let’s you do what else but download MAC games!!

Download MAC Games has eight pages of MAC games where you can download and to your machine and play. Some are freeware some are shareware games. It is up to you to decide how much you are willing to pay for a game.

Easily sieve through the type of games you are interested in by sorting them according to genre. So who says that PC users have all the fun, eh?

I don’t know how some people can sit in front of their computer playing computer games. I know a couple of die hard gamers who would forgo EVERYTHING every weekend just so that they could sit with their eyes glued to the screen and shooting and/or hacking each other.

But then, some people also wonder how I can sit around the whole day blogging ….

I chanced upon this offer of free download of Command and Conquer. I do not play this game so I don’t know if it is any good but I know some people really dig this game so they may be interested to know of this offer.
