Free Glitter Graphics and More

I really had fun playing with this glitter text generator. There are so many styles for the text it’s just amazing. I have played with it for a couple of hours but I still haven’t found one that I feel live saving to my computer and use because each one seems more beautiful than the last.

Besides glitter text, you will also find layouts for Friendster, MySpace and Xanga. You can also find small icons, graphics, clipart, background, blinkies and many more to spruce up your website or blog and these are all for free use. Just make sure that you do not hotlink the images.

I am at the moment playing with the text generator. Hopefully I can make a banner with my name on it or something, for my blogs!

I was introduced to blinkies not too long ago. These are very cute images that you use as your signature in forums or blog and website. These little rectangular images could actually help you make a statement with their bold words. You can, of course, make your own, or if you are like me, who don’t even know how to go about it, you can just use these blinkies like they are your own.

Of all the blinkie sites that I came upon, most creators do not require a link back but if you want to use them, you will have to download them and upload them to your own server.

Although there are many blinkie sites and swappers, I am only featuring one. You can check the bottom of the page which has a long list of other blinkie makers.

Free Ebooks From Baen Books

Baen Books is giving away free downloads for a number of ebooks. According to the website, there is absolutely no strings attached. There is a whole long list of titles for us to download. I did not count but it could be around a hundred titles and I believe more will be added to the list soon.

What I like about this site is that all the titles come in various formats. Previously, I have come across many free ebook sites that only come in a certain format and I end up having to download and install all sorts of readers on my computer just so that I could read the ebooks.

If you live reading, you should check out this list. I see quite a few interesting titles and can’t wait to read them. I wish I have more time!

You probably read that I have bought a new mobile device three months ago. Has it already been three months? How time flies. After such a long time did I finally try to look for games and programmes to download on to my phone so I spent a little time to look for free games and software.

I chanced upon the site, All About Symbian, which has whole lists of programs that are suitable for different phone types. You should see the number of freeware and games that I downloaded from the site. I have even found a new game to be addicted in!

If you are a Symbian mobile device user like me, you should probably check this site out first and see if you can get any programmes for free without paying for anything!

I don’t know how some people can sit in front of their computer playing computer games. I know a couple of die hard gamers who would forgo EVERYTHING every weekend just so that they could sit with their eyes glued to the screen and shooting and/or hacking each other.

But then, some people also wonder how I can sit around the whole day blogging ….
