Peter Brett Signed Bookplate

Not everyone is lucky enough to go to book signings. If you have Peter Brett’s books, you probably would want to have his autographed bookplate. This means that you could sill get your book “autographed” even though you missed the book signings.

Author Peter Brett is giving 500 autographed bookplates away for free. It doesn’t matter where you are, it will be sent to you. Just click on the link that I have enclosed, read through the post and shoot Peter an email with all required information. Well, he does need to know where to send out the bookplate to you, right?

Then, sit back and wait for the bookplate to arrive in the mail. It would need more time if you live in a faraway land! Enjoy the freebie!

Free Web Browser Home Page

I came across this freebie by chance just this morning. I kinda of like the idea though it’s not practical for me to use because I open multiple tabs every time I fire up my browser. LOL However, if you like a colourful homepage with handy links o all your most visited social network profiles, this freebie would suit you well.

Right now, there are eleven different designs, including one mobile version. Just choose the design you would like to use and you will be taken to steps on how o set your browser homepage. Soon, you can even customize your homepage with your own design. The website says this feature will be rolled out on 1st February. Well, where I am today’s already 2nd Feb. So let’s just wait. Meanwhile, enjoy what’s being offered.

Only Won Free Music Download

I discovered Only Won on Twitter the other day and one link led me to another, and I chanced upon his blog. He is offering free tracks on his blog so it’s a great opportunity for me to feature him here on my blog. I downloaded his three free tracks, though I had to submit my e-mail address and obviously, subscribe to his mailing list. It’s OK, I used my junk email address. Hahaha!! I kinda like his music; he’s a Chinese Hip Hop singer; quite a rare breed, if you ask me.

If you would like to download and listen to music, especially when it’s free, just head over to Only Won’s blog by clicking on the link I have enclosed at the top of this post. Anyway, the three free tracks are as follows:

1. I Wanna Be An Engineer
2. Dim Sum
3. Cantonese Boy

Enjoy!

Free Instrumental Music & Samples

I can’t remember if I have featured this website before. it looks rather familiar so I may have. Or perhaps I may not have since I don’t feature all freebie websites and blogs that I come across!

In any case, this is a site with a wealth of free instrument music, Hip Hop and music samples. These music downloads are all free, like I said, and the best thing is that they are original music. Yahoo!

Do take note that although the music is free, you cannot use any of the music, in whole or otherwise, unless you purchase a non exclusive license from ChemicHill Digital Productions, the owners of the website, and obviously, music. LOL

It’s still nice to download some music and listen, though. Not something that we could get on radio, you know?

Download The Biggest Loser and SUBWAY© Workout Mix – Wake Up and Workout

If you are planning to lose weight, or even if you aren’t but “workout” music, this is a good chance to get your hands on six “workout” tracks in a special album, a collaborative effort between The Biggest Loser and SUBWAY©.

The six tracks are:
1. Forget You – Cee Lo Green
2. Just a Dream – Nelly
3. The Time (Dirty Bit) – Black Eyed Peas
4. We R Who We R – Ke$ha
5. DJ Got Us Fallin In Love Again – Usher feat. Pitbull
6. Whats My Name – Rihanna feat. Drake

To download all these tracks, you would have to submit your email address. Probably it means a subscription to their newsletter or something. It’s not mentioned but I am sure you know to use your alternative email address, right?

Ad-Free Free Web Hosting

A blog reader sent me a message asking me to recommend him a web host. I have no special preference, actually, so I went online looking for reasonably-priced web hosting companies. That was how I came across this ad-free free webhosting service.

While free hosting service is not new, this one is different because it’s a-free. Moreover, you can use your own domain too. If you don’t want to spend money on your own domain, of course you can use a subdomain, which is also free.

Of course, for a free webhosting account, resources are limited but it is not a problem for a new set up. I like it that users are given CPanel access, which is crucial in any webhosting service. Check it out and let me know if you are using this free webhosting service.

Free Bookmark

If you have been following my blog, you would know that I was a collector; I collected anything I fancied. I used to have a huge collection of bookmarks. Even though I no longer collect them but started to use them already, I still have so many of them in pristine condition.

if you love to collect bookmarks, head over to the website that I have enclosed at the top of this post to read up on what it’s all about. Then send an email to info@writingreflections.com with “Bookmark Request” in the subject line. Of course, include your name and mailing address.

Bookmarks are sent out free – I think this offer is valid to US address only! If you live outside of the United States, you could still try your luck, though!
