Amazon Cloud Drive: Free 5GB Online Storage

Online storage is actually not something new. Amazon rolled out cloud storage a couple of days ago and they are giving away free 5GB online storage to every account. Cloud storage enables us to access our files online wherever we are connected to the internet.

As I said, there are many companies that offer online storage services. The important thing is to go with a company that could be trusted not to wipe out our data, charge us suddenly, etc.

Free 30GB Secure Online Storage

I was looking for an secure online storage when my search brought me to the website of Glide OS. I have to admit that I have not heard of Glide OS before. I think it’s like a mobile browser but I am not sure. The introduction on its homepage sounds totally Greek to me!

Anyway, let’s get to the bottom of this. Glide OS is offering free 30GB secure online storage for all registered users. Sounds totally good to me even though I may not know what they are, who they are or what they do. LOL

Currently, I am using SkyDrive from Windows Live but I don’t really like it. Let’s see if I have the time and mood to move my files over. Urghh… it’s too much work just thinking about it!

It’s been a while since I knew about DIINO, a free online storage service. Well, if you are online as much as I am, it’s hard to miss their colourful advertising banners, what more when pink is my favourite colour!

Although DIINO is not the one and only website that provides free online storage service, when it is free, I LIKE! I figure that since websites like these do not provide too much storage space, the more accounts you have with various online storage providers, the more stuff you can upload to your accounts and storage your not-so-important files online so that you can access them wherever you are, as long as you are connected to the internet.

As for me, I love to store my media online so that if anything happens to my hard disk, I would still be able to get hold of them, without having to rip my CDs again, or download them *ahem*
