Make Money By Blogging

Posts on opportunities that pay us to blog are always looked forward to. Although I have known of Snapbomb for a little while already, I did not post on the company yet because I wanted to try and see if they are genuine. Well, I would like to announce that I have already received my first payment from Snapbomb so I am ready to let everyone know that this is yet another avenue for bloggers to earn a little money just by blogging. Cool!

I think that it is great that as bloggers, we get to create buzz for a company, its product, service or website and get compensated for it. How much we get paid depends very much on the traffic and page views to our blog and the reading is pretty accurate since we have to embed a script on out template. To get the maximum from Snapbomb, a fair price blog advertising marketplace, keep your traffic coming in and you will be paid accordingly.

From what I can see, blog advertising will continue to grow so check out Snapbomb if you would like to make some money just by blogging.

Add Media List Easily to Your Site

If you are a webmaster, then you may want to have a look at this. My Media List is the name of the website and what it does is to allow you to easily place your media list on your blog or website.

First, you will have to create an account with them. After that, embed a code on the template of your blog, positioning it where you prefer it to be. Log into your account and start adding entries which will appear on your site. Cool, eh? Like Google Adsense.

From your account, you can also customize the look of your list to fit the layout of your website or blog. The only problem that I can see is that our account is not able to support more than one website or blog. If this is not true, please let me know!

Blogging And More On Thoughts.com

If you are a blogger who started a blog independently, you would appreciate how difficult it is to bring up the blog from scratch, building traffic, loyal readership and ranks. However, if you join a Blogging Community and start your blog from there, it will be a lot easier because of the ready readership and traffic among members.

Two months ago, I was introduced to a blogging community at http://www.thoughts.com/. On this portal, once you register an account with them, you will be given a free blog where you can easily create your own space online, sharing your thoughts on anything that catches your fancy.

Each new post is given the necessary exposure with a link from the homepage of thoughts.com under Recent Blog Posts and your posts can also be easily searched via cloud tag. You can also be featured in the member’s photos section. All these are very important features that will bring you readership. Let’s face it, it does not matter how good you write if nobody reads it, you know?

If you are up to more networking, Thoughts has a very active forum where you can socialize and link your blog from your signature. Make use of the free space for photos by sharing your photos with readers. I notice that readers like to see photos of the bloggers. Perhaps this makes them feel as if they KNOW the blogger.

Out of the so many bloggers on Thoughts.com, how do you know who are the better bloggers? Well, members of the community get to rate others’ posts. These are listed under Popular Posts.

Thoughts.com is actually more than a free blogging platform but a full-fledged blogging AND social networking site. If I have the time, I would really like to start a new blog there but as it is, I already have more than ten blogs!!

Have You Heard Of Smorty Yet?

If you have not, where have you been?? Smorty is an exciting blog advertising marketplace connecting advertisers and bloggers. Advertisers look for bloggers to provide the buzz on their product, website or service and banklinks on their blogs while bloggers get paid to blog and to provide an opinion or feedback.

What better way is there to get compensated to talk about a product that we already normally talk about on our blogs all these while? Join Smorty, of course!

With a marketplace like Smorty, advertisers get to easily advertise on blogs while bloggers get to blog for money, that’s what they do best; blogging!

I have been a Smorty member since the beginning of the company’s inception and I have no issues with them. They have great on-going campaigns with the lowest payout at $6 per campaign and payment is made via PayPal on a weekly basis.

Smorty is a really hassle-free and stress-free program as we are given 72 hours to complete each campaign. Check it out if you are haven’t but would like to blog for money!

Win $2500 With Eyes Closed

I know I am guilty of always saying that one contest is the easiest to participate and then I find another way that surpasses that. Well, this one takes the cake. Ashwin Khanna’s Blog Extravaganza has been making the waves on the internet because he is giving away $2500 cold hard cash to one lucky person at the end of his link fest.

To participate, and anybody could do this with both eye closed, bloggers have to copy, paste and publish a fixed paragraph of text on their own blogs. And the text goes like this, and I quote copy and paste:

Over at Ashwin’s blog, you will find one crazy blog owner!! You can win $2500!! To enter just copy this text and paste it in your blog!! But hurry, this competition will not last long! So get posting!

Did I already say this is an easy peasy contest? Anyone with a blog should participate and why not? Many people have asked if this contest is for real. Well, we will soon know next month, won’t we?

P/S: 24th August, 2007: The link has been updated to point to another site after this contest has been found to be crap.

Promote a Blog To Win Ca$h Prizes!

What does it take to win US$50? Nothing exceptionally difficult and a little luck. That is all. Just so happens that I went to check out the postie forum this morning and came across a blog promotion contest.

Julie from Reviews and More is running a contest where anyone who promotes her new shopping blog, The Chronic Consumer, will be entered into a drawing to win cash prizes ranging from US$10 to US$50.

She only requires you to write a blog post with a minimum of 100 words and linked to her two blogs. You can write just about anything and enter as many times as you wish as long as each unique entry is published on a different blog.

Once you are done, just email Julie and she will reply you to let you know if your post meets her requirements or if it needs some rectification. That is all. Enter soon because the closing date is 30th June, 2007. For more information, do check out the rules and regulations.

Good luck, everybody!
