Free Rainbow Vacation Planner

I have been travelling so much this year, I would say that it’s almost a monthly affair. Sometimes, I don’t even remember what happened in a particular trip. LOL Yes, getting old!

Anyway, it would be great if I could have a vacation planner so that I could write down my travelling dates and the things I’m supposed to do when I’m there.

If you fancy a free vacation planner, you can send in a request to the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau through their website. You can find the link in this post. I am not sure if this freebie is available worldwide, though I do see all the countries in the drop down menu but then again, never try never know. Drop me a comment if you have successfully received your freebie.

Free Hope Tote Bag For Women With Cancer

Images courtesy of The Lydia Project

I just lost an aunt to lung cancer last week. When I came across The Lydia Project, I am so touched that there are people who spend time, money and resources to offer hope, support and prayer to women around the world who are fighting the same battle: cancer.

The Lydia Project gives away free Hope tote bags upon request but they also offer a listening ear and prayers to these women. Having seen my maternal grandmother, an aunt and a good friend die of cancer, I have to admit that I am shaken by the devastation that cancer causes. Care, support, understanding, love and most of all, prayers, are very, very important.

If you know of anyone who has cancer, you can request for a tote bag on her behalf. The tote bags filled with love and encouragement are delivered around the world, except those living within Augusta, GA area where these will be hand delivered by a volunteer.

Free Big Heart Baby Adult-Size T-Shirt

I love free t-shirts. Perhaps t-shirts are one of the most practical freebies out there. I have a lot of promotional t-shirts but this does not mean that I always wear them out of the house. You know, I have the thinking that if I were to wear a free t-shirt out of the house, then I should get paid for it and not only receive a free t-shirt, if you know what I mean!

Anyway, to get your hands on this free “Big Heart Baby” t-shirt in adult size, just “like” their page on Facebook. You can find their Facebook “like” button just below the image of the free t-shirt. Click on it if you are already a registered with Facebook. You would also have to log in to your account for it to work. Be quick though, as only the first 1000 fans would be put in the draw.

Play Around in Memphis

This is a sponsored guest post written by Memphis Travel on behalf of Memphis CVB. Post powered by Sponzai.

More than just the home of the blues and barbeque, Memphis gives you plenty of ways to play around, with fun things to do no matter who you are or what you like. Of course, if you’re into Elvis, rock-and-roll and mouth-watering ribs, you’ve got to check out Graceland, Sun Studios, and the Rendezvous. But Memphis has much more to offer than this holy trinity of southern culture, with enough to see, do and eat to make it the perfect location for your next long weekend getaway.
The families out there (or the wild at heart) should be sure to check out the Memphis Zoo, one of only four U.S. zoos with giant pandas. Recently ranked the #1 zoo in the U.S. by TripAdvisor.com, the Memphis Zoo lets you get up close and personal with the animal kingdom. And with the recent addition the Northwest Passage, home to Polar bears in a see-through underwater exhibit, and the zoo’s newest section, Teton Trek, kids and adults alike are certain to have a blast.
Don’t let your midtown experience stop at the zoo; the Cooper-Young and Overton Square neighborhoods are just down the street. Ask a local Memphian where to find a tasty bite to eat, great local music and ice cold beer, and they will probably direct you here. Speaking of beer … the environmentally conscious visitor can enjoy a locally brewed beer by Ghost River Brewing or walk through the natural landscape and educational facilities at the Lichterman Nature Center.
Memphis has museums for just about everything. From the Civil Rights Museum, Cotton Museum and Fire Museum in downtown to the Brooks Museum, Children’s Museum of Memphis and the Pink Palace Museum further east, the number of places to have fun while you learn are as bountiful as the barbeque restaurants. Families, friends, sports fans, history buffs, self-proclaimed food critics – Memphis has everything you need to keep everyone happy.
So when you visit Memphis, stay a few extra days. Even the locals don’t run out of things to do. And to make it easy, memphistravel.com is launching a new travel guide to help you plan your next vacation. Simply choose from a list of interests and you’ll be given a sample itinerary with lots of great ideas. You can also register for a chance to win one of twelve trip packages that include tours, gift certificates to Memphis’ favorite restaurants, hotel stays and more. Go to itinerary.memphistravel.com to get started.

Win Free NUTRO® Pet Food

A friend told me about this sweepstakes a couple of months ago. Luckily, this is still available now that I have time to blog about it! Well, if you have a dog or a cat, this is the best chance to try out a different diet and best of all, grab hold of some free food. Pet food can be rather expensive, you will know if you have a pet with an extremely big appetite, like my doggie!

To win free NUTRO® dog or cat food, just visit the link that I have enclosed in this post, fill out the questionnaire and submit it. By the way, this offer is available to residents of Canada and the United States only. There are two entry periods a year, six months each entry period. Each household is limited to one entry only.

This looks like a difficult contest to win but never try, never know, right? All the best to you, if you are participating!

Free Casino Games

This year alone, I visited three casinos in two countries. I find that I wasn’t able to concentrate on my games and hence, was not able to win any money. Other people may feel differently but I find the environment not conducive as I get distracted too easily.

My friend suggested I try online casinos; I think I really should. Perhaps I have better luck online! Online Casinos Planet is a very resourceful website with information on the current top online casinos with in-depth reviews on each site featured here.

I find the site very useful, especially when I could get all the information I need from a few online casinos all in one web page. Besides, since I am not ready to play with real cash, I am checking out the free online casino flash games.

If you need updated information and news on online casinos and even popular land casinos around the world, this is the website to start.

Photoshop Brushes, Tutorials & Other Freebies

I came across this blog with freebies of Photoshop brushes, tutorials and other graphic freebies in mid-April or so. Between then and now, I am disappointed to say that there are no new freebies added but I am glad to see that the layout has been changed! This is not to say that the old layout isn’t nice but it shows that the owner still takes care of her blog so we can look forward to new freebies soon.

Anyway, even though there is only a handful of freebies, these are high quality stuff. Fancy some Photoshop brushes of Alice in Wonderland and winged horses? This is the website to check out. And if you have ever wondered how to work with resin or would like to learn about image transferring techniques, check out the tutorials here.
