Free Potty Training DVD

While I may not have children, most of my friends are already parents. Actually, it is quite scary seeing how much trouble they get into trying to raise the children right but luckily, modern times come with access to modern ways of bringing up the children and things are not as difficult as it was during our grandparents’ and parents’ time!

A week ago, I came across this offer of a free potty training DVD by PULL-UPS®. See, even for potty training, you need to watch a DVD. I don’t know how well it works or if it is really necessary but it looks like something fun to get your hands on, if you have children that age learning to use the potty.

Unfortunately, this offer is only valid for residents of the United States and Canada. The rest of the world is left out AGAIN!

It’s A Contest Blog!

Yesterday, I was just talking to a friend about the Apple iPhone that I won in a blog contest a few months ago and he asked me, “How come I never win anything?!?”

Well, many people have the misconception that they could win in contests just by not putting in the effort. It’s not true because first of all, if you are interested in participating in contests to win prizes, you will need to spare some time searching for contests or sweepstakes with interesting prizes.

To save time, what I do is to visit websites, blogs and forums that are specifically on contests, sweepstakes, freebies, giveaways, samples and deals. Well, just like my own blog. On one hand, I get to participate in all these contests and lucky draws and on the other hand, I get to share the information with readers of my two Freebie blogs.

There is A Contest Blog that I just discovered tonight which I think is worth checking out. If you are here reading this blog, then you will also be interested in what A Contest Blog has to offer. There are plenty of other contests, giveaways, freebies and sweepstakes not found here on my blog, that you could win in. So what are you waiting for?

By the way, if you are using Opera or Internet Explorer, you may notice that the content box and right sidebar are pushed to the bottom of the left sidebar. However, this Contest Blog is displayed perfectly in Safari and FireFox. As a webmaster, it is my habit to check websites with the four major web browsers as I want them to look “perfect”.

It has been a long time since I wrote a post on Apple iPhone wallpaper site. However, I thought that I have already found all there is to find and I thought that it’s high time I make my own iPhone wallpapers BUT I have been thoroughly busy and am not able to make full use of my of my domain name!

Anyway, about a week ago, while looking for Pink iPhone themes and wallpapers, I stumbled upon AppleWallpaper.net. Yes, they do have Pink wallpaper for my iPhone but I haven’t downloaded it yet. Lazy, lah!

If you are also always on the look out for free iPhone wallpapers and do not know how to make your own, then perhaps you may want to check out this site. I haven’t even finished browsing what they have to offer.

The Charlatans: ‘You Cross My Path’ Full Album

Are you a fan of The Charlatans? I am not but that did not stop me from downloading their full album with the title, “You Cross My Path”. XFM music station from the United Kingdom AND The Charlatans have so kindly allowed us music lovers to download the album for free. If you love The Charlatans then this is awesome news but if you do not like their kind of music, or have not been exposed to the music of The Charlatans yet, then this is the chance to try them.

To download the album in a single .zip file or to download individual tracks, just click on the link that I have provided at the top of this post. Downloading is simple. I use Flash Get, a download manager program. However, what I mean about simple is that you do not need to disclose any information about yourself or your contact details.

You can, however, leave your comments or say a word of thanks at the bottom of the post on the XFM website. Happy listening and enjoy!

Professional Developer & Designer Tools For Students

Many people say that Microsoft has grown so huge that it is a corporation that has lost touch with the people, users of their products. Well, I understand that it is a commercial entity and as long as they provide me with software and programmes that make me work more efficiently and effectively, I am fine with that.

A week ago, I chance upon this freebie offer by Microsoft for students only. While I understand that Microsoft is trying to expand the offer to more countries, right now, this offer is only valid for students in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, China, Germany, France, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Belgium.

Students who are eligible and are interested in downloading Microsoft’s Professional Developer & Designer tools would have to register for a Windows Live account and verify her/her student status.

The aim of this programme by Microsoft called Dream Spark is to allow students to develop their creativity in technology without incurring cost.

Send a Free Lepregram

17th of March is St. Patrick’s Day. What do people do on this day besides drink? They send out lepregrams! I found this very interesting website by Bennigan’s that allows us to send free lepregrams in conjunction with St. Patrick’s Day.

The people behind this idea believe that there is an inner leprechaun in everyone of us and it is dying to say something and St. Patrick’s Day is the best day to say it.

Unfortunately, some things can be hard to speak out so sending a lepregram is the best option as it allows us privacy. Check out this website and select the kind of message that you want to send. They have five types for you to choose from. After selecting one of these, you can add in your message.

Anyway, it’s just a simple process like sending an ordinary ecard. It’s fun.

Arts & Crafts For Kids

While checking out a website, one link led me to another and I landed on the website of 4KraftyKidz.com. I tell you, I keep spelling this URL all wrong as I type this post!

Anyway, this website is great for kids who love arts and crafts. You know that bad weather can always make kids cranky when they can’t play outside. Check this site for craft ideas, clip art, printables or colouring sheets.

I may not have children but I know my friends who are agitated parents would love to know about this website! Did I already mention that everything on this website is for free?
