I have always been fascinated with quilting although I cannot make even one for myself successfully. I wonder how some ladies can manage to put up a nice quilt even from small pieces of colourful scrap cloth. These ladies have the ability to imagine the full picture of how they want the quilt to be like and start working from the first piece. That is simply amazing to me.

I also should mention that it takes great skill to sew the small pieces together. Of course, now people are using sewing machines but I used to have a teacher at my school who sewed them by hand piece by piece. Amazing.

As you know, I recently bought a domain name and was wondering what to do with it. I have it hosted already but what should I do with the space? I already have a store and more than enough blogs and I have a personal website on Googlepages.

I surfed the internet for ideas thinking of setting up a personal homepage to replace my Googlepages site. Granted, Googlepages was very easy to set up and I can’t say the same for hosting my own website which I have no idea where or how to start, though this did not stop me from searching for beautiful web templates.

I came across the website Elated.com, a great resource site for webmasters. They have freebies for people who want to make their own websites, like me. There are PageKits which are actually templates, ImageKits which are stock photos and ActionKits which are actually collections of Adobe Photoshop actions for creating special effects in images.

I have to say these freebies are really cute. I just wish I know what to do with them!
