Christmas is still some time away. However, the American Lung Association is giving away free Christmas Seals for 2011, which means that if you request for the free 2011 Christmas seals, you will only receive them next year.
However, if you would like Christmas seals for this year, you will have to make a small donation of US$10 or US$20. If lung diseases are close to your heart, especially lung cancer, why not donate to the American Lung and in the process, receive cute 2010 Christmas seals?

I love looking for, requesting and collecting freebie fragrance samples. I don’t know why, I don’t even use them and I don’t think I’ll ever buy them. Why waste money on something that evaporates? LOL Heck, I don’t even use the free fragrances that I collect. Maybe I just love their exotic names.

Although I have an iPhone which I have already installed with quite a few word search puzzles, I find that I still prefer working on word search puzzles the old fashioned way. Sure, I could buy a book of puzzles from the book store but as I know, I am cheap. If I could get something for free, I don’t see why I should pay for it.
Today, with some luck, I discovered this website that gives us free printable word search puzzles. Of course, this would mean that we have to print them out and then only work on them but it’s not a big problem since you just need black ink to print them out.
There are many different types of word puzzles here and a list that is especially for children. Good for those days when you can’t seem to get them interested in their usual toys or entertainment.

I love collecting fragrance samples, even though strangely, I do not use fragrance myself because I have sensitive nose. If you are like me, or if you are someone who is serious about the fragrance you use, then this sample is a good way to try out a new product in the market and it is by Gucci!
You would need to have a Facebook account, though. A lot of good stuffs are on there, I tell you. Once you have installed the Gucci Guilty application, follow the instructions and request for your free sample. Yes, it is that simple.

When I told my friend that I would like to visit Bangkok, he told me to stay at White Orchid in Chinatown. He said that it’s his usual haunt too because it’s not too dingy and it’s not too classy. It’s middle class. I went to check out their rates and almost had a heart attack, though. It’s certainly not as cheap as I had hoped.
Well, never mind. Get Me To Bangkok is giving away free accommodation at White Orchid in Bangkok Chinatown to two lucky winners. You would have to register with the website first and then submit an entry up to one every 8 hours. Why 8 hours? I have no idea but the competition to win this prize package will end on 30th September, 2010.

Looks like every other company is utilizing Facebook and other social media networks for advertising and promotion. I am not sure if it’s good or bad but I think it’s rather limited, unless you consider the spamming that goes to the newsfeed and profiles. I don’t even check the newsfeed and almost always miss out on such postings on friends’ profiles.
Anyway, if you like freebies, especially free songs, Bruegger’s is giving away 6 free tracks for download but you would first have to “Like” their Facebook page first. I see that three of my friends have already done so.
Right now, I am not able to tell you what are the songs available. You’d have to Like the page to gain access but then you can always Unlike soon after. LOL
