I came to know of this site from a friend who told me that he will not have time to send out gifts to his friends who are living overseas so virtual flowers will have to do. I didn’t know what sort of virtual flowers he meant until I checked out the site and virtual flowers are actually virtual cards, or ecards, with pictures of bouquets of flowers on the card.
Personally, even if I do send out an ecard or virtual flowers, I would still want to follow up my card or virtual flowers with a REAL card or even gift. I know that it’s the thought that counts but then I would still feel bad about it, especially if this person sent me something as well!
Talking about cards, I need to get down to sending them out before the week is over or they will not reach in time for Christmas!

If you are looking to win a free book, frankly, there are many authors that run monthly contests, BUT there are not that many who are willing to open up their contests to the world. I was delighted to note that author Lori Handeland’s monthly contests have no country limitations and I checked the winners’ list and true enough, I see winners from Australia, Canada, Finland and even South Africa!

Do you like crossword puzzles? I do but I am afraid of getting addicted to the game because I cannot spare the time. I used to cut out crossword puzzles from the Sunday papers but with the internet we no longer have to do that. Just go to websites dedicated to crossword puzzles and start playing.
Clutu is a crossword puzzle site that we can generate a puzzle and play on our own or invite friends to play with us. We can also open our puzzle so that other puzzle players on Clutu can join in.
There is an option to make the Clutu generated puzzle competitive too. I have yet to play on Clutu but I just may start now that I have more free time on my hands!

If you are wondering why there is a lack of update on my blog, it is because I have discovered a new hobby: digital scrapbooking! I don’t know if I could do it because I am not a creative person but I really like looking through these sites and have found a gold mine of digiscrapbooking freebies!
Digital Freebies is one of the many sites that I discovered recently that allows members to download digiscrapbooking freebies every month and purchase archived freebies if they have missed the open freebie.
Another thing that I have been busy with is looking for sweepstakes on the internet. That’s how I get content for my freebies blogs, you know? And I’ve been busy exploring home based business opportunities. No choice but to look for new revenue streams!

When you see the name of this site, Blingy Blob, you will know at once that this is a bling bling site that could enhance your social networking profiles. You know how some people love adding these things to their MySpace profiles?
Well, I never did anything to my profile but it does not stop me from using the glitters and other tools here. Once you get the codes, you can embed them on any webpage you like.
Actually, Blingy Blob is not the only site that offers these enhancements but most of the other sites will annoy you with pop-up and pop-under windows when you first access their site. Bah.
